Re: Zanussi FLE1215W Wash M/c – Neon Light Error Codes?

Down the right hand side you have eight programme phase lights. In the event of a fault the lights will change to show the error code for the fault. Without going into the diagnostic system the only error codes that will show up are ones that the customer can do something about. (fill, drain or door problem). If you go into the diagnostic they will show the complete error code.
To read the lights you need to split them into two groups of four, the four top ones give the first digit of the error code and the bottom four the second digit. If you take the top four and count the bottom one as 1, the second one up as 2, the third as 4 and the fourth as 8. You then add together the ones which are flashing. So if the bottom two are flashing then 1 + 2 gives 3 so the first digit of the fault code is 3. Or if the bottom one and the top one are flashing then 1 + 8 gives 9 so the first digit is 9. You then look at the bottom set of four which are numbered the same way i.e the bottom one is 1, the next one up is 2, the next one up is 4 and the top one is 8. Again you add the numbers corresponding to the flashing lights and this gives you the second digit of the fault code.
I hope this is making sense 😕 So if the third one up of the top four is flashing then that is 4 and the bottom one of the bottom four is flashing then it is 1 and this gives an error code of E41.
If the machine you are looking at is just stopping with the phase lights on steady and not flashing then it is not showing an error code. You will have to go into diagnostics to get it.

Re: Beko WMA520W – Door Seal Problem

Yes they are VERY strong springs 👿 Normally loosen the door lock off then push a 2 foot screwdriver through the hole and trap the spring at the door seal. Use your shoulder against the screwdriver to keep in place and then feed spring around with both hands. Also helps to rub door spring with washing up liquid first.

Well known problem on guarentee machines. Modified door seal, part number 2812380100, is a lot easier to fit and also helps cure the out of balance system cutting in when seal drags against drum. 🙂

Are they available as a spare part? We have a bulletin saying to order tub front, tub rear, inner drum etc if a repair is required. Works out very expensive! £100 just for the 17 tub bolts 😯

Re: Stoves EC 600 EM DOa cooker – how to set clock/timer?

How many buttons does your clock have? If it is 3 with the left marked – and the right marked + then press both together and the display should start flashing. You can then adjust the time using either of the buttons. Once the time is set then leave for 30 seconds and time will be remembered.

By pressing these 2 buttons again the acoustic signal

Out of the customers instruction manual. 🙂

The board you say is on the right as you look from the back is the power board. The programme set is the actual display board which runs along the front behind the facia and has the display on it. Attached to the programme set is another small board which is the grill control board. The grill board is no longer available as a seperate unit and comes with the programme set. Depending on your pnc number there can be yet another board which is quite small and attached to the power board. This is a power safety board. 😕
Without seeing the oven in person it would be very difficult to say which of these is giving you your problem. It is probably time to call in professional help.

Ease off the lamp cover and you will find one screw just behind the bulb. With that removed carefully lift the rear of the stat housing and slide towards the rear to unclip the front.

    Power off before working.!!

Does your oven have 2 circuit boards below the top cover? One for the display (clock) and another set further back. If so I would not rush into ordering the programme set. This appears to be the control unit but it is the power board which has the relays on for the element switching.

End light flashing 5 times is showing a motor related fault. Enter the diagnostics for the actual fault code. Is this the same fs1255w that you have a post running about trying to configure a new module? 😕

E50 is a generic code for motor related faults. You need to go into the diagnostic system to obtain the actual code which could be E51, E52 etc.
