Did both rings stop working correctly at exactly the same time? Which two rings are they? When you say they are either full on or full off do you mean they work sometimes and not others or do you mean you cannot control the heat by the regulator?
Sorry about all of the questions but it may help to identify the problem. 🙂

If its a Zanussi in a skirt have you checked the condensor water valve? Will not switch neutral to heater until it has detected water through condensor and then will not switch fan on until it detects heat from dryer element.

To reset after alarm condition you have to turn fridge and freezer stats to the off position then back on again. If you turn off at the wall it recognises it as a power cut (but doesn’t know for how long)and flashes lights as a warning to the customer to check food in freezer in case it has defrosted.

    Re: LEISURE RM10FRS – 04 100235 08 – RIGHT SIDE NOT WORKING?

Made by Beko. Two live feeds from the mains terminal block run directly to the thermal fuses on each oven. The feed to the conventional oven also controls the warming plate and the ignition unit.
Mains terminal block – thermal fuse – P1 on oven selector switch. If oven, plate and ignition unit are not working then fault has to be on that cable. Neutral feed also goes on to the fan oven so if that was faulty then nothing would be working at all.

As you say there are two. One has the oven and clock the other has the oven and ignition unit.

Thermal fuse in the wiring harness under clamp at back of oven.

Used a Vaio VGN-FJ1S for the last two years but only for home use. Excellent quality especially the x-black screen. Had aproblem after 6 months with the wireless card and the Sony aftersales service has to be the best in the world. Phoned at 7pm on thursday night, a dhl courier arrived 9am friday with a packaging box which had been sent overnight from Antwerp. The laptop was on a workbench in France on Monday morning and back at my house 9am Tuesday. A phone call from the same lad I had talked to originally on the Wednesday night to see if everything was OK. 😀
With only really using it at home I cannot say how robust it would be out and about, use an Hp for that and it does feel more robust.

You can also get a clear plastic cover to go over the module to protect from water drips. Don’t have the part number to hand at the minute.

I believe there will be no change for them. They will use their laptops as normal.

Yes they will eventually be replacing all eeprom boards with smartcard boards. All new models will be smartcards and replacements for models over the last couple of years are already available.

No it looks like they will still have some variations in boards. If you follow the link on an earlier post there are alrady two listed on there.

You say no fault displayed but did you go into the diagnostic system? It will only show certain faults to the customer, the rest you have to be in the diagnostic system to see them.

    Re: Hotpoint Smart Cards

Worst thing is they are one use only. They wipe themselves at the end of a write. 👿 If you are doing a washer dryer which has 4 possible smartcards and use the wrong one then that card is scrap and you have to buy another. At least with the eeprom you could take it out and use another day. Also if you fitted a module and eprom then a few months later it had a module fault you could replace just the module and swop the eprom over. You will now have to buy module and smartcard every time. 😈
You will have to decide to do something shortly as they are already running out of stock of the old style modules and all you will be able to get are smartcards.

It sounds like the board has got locked onto something. I have had a couple in the past, although not with 155 showing. I have cured them by unplugging the small cable from the facia board and reversing it, switch the machine on for a few seconds then off again. Reverse the cable again and then switch the machine back on. It appears to reset the board. I found this by accident and it cured the ones I had and has cured another couple for other engineers. Obviously I don’t know if it will cure yours and please don’t blame me if it goes wrong but worst case scenario you are probably going to end up changing the board anyway. :rolls:

    Re: Indesit Smart Card Reader

Modules for smart cards do not have an eprom socket. Stores systems are now linking old eprom boards to the replacement smart card board as an equivalent. So if you order the old board and eprom and the board is out of stock they will give you the new board with an eprom which will not fit. The other way if you order a new style board and smart card and the new board is not in stock then they will give you the equivalent which is an eprom board with an empty socket. Educate your storemen that if they give you the equivalent board they must also give you the equivalent smart card or eprom. 😕
