The fridge gave up again so I have now bought a new Bosch to replace it.

So far in only about 7 years we have gone through

3 hotpoint washing machines (one only lasting a week)

    2 Hotpoint tumble dryers

    1 hotpoint fridge freezer

Will never buy Hotpoint ever again what absolute rubbish 👿

    youve done well

what possessed you to persevere with 6 machines?

its dead easy mate, just use your common sense

lets just say, the wire to the thermal fuse has a white cover over it, the rest is fairly obvious

under the lid, next to the timer…. bit fiddly, plug out when looking and make a note of where the wires go

    not sensing pressure switch

if your lucky, it’ll be just that, but experience would suggest a faulty pcb

honestly, if you move the hinge to the closed position, it will slide down and pull out

omg stripey, u really are a goon

u make yourself look more pathetic with every post

do you think the poster would have asked the question, after possibly 2 years if he didnt think there was a problem?

the light WILL NOT flash in the off position, which, funnily enough, is when the machine should be off

    there is another thermostat

inside the door, at 12oclock, in the plastic housing…. 2 screws, just be gentle, and wiggle it out

other than that, its the pcb (if its the model with a pcb)
