nope, comet have to pay as well

basically, all boards are different, and even the older machines will have different boards, and everytime you change the board, you will require a smart card

    so, youll need a reader

basically, you fit the board and insert the smart card, its a write once, and cant be used again

if its corrupt or doesnt work, youll need another

eproms and boards are being phased ount, and will be a thing of the past at the end of the year

    hope this helps?

dont be shocked if the boards faulty!!

like i said previously an ntc out of calibration is supposed to be picked up by the pcb

the ntc isnt too expensive, so well worth a go

erm, itll need a pcb, and an eprom

    sorry, but its pretty common

resetting thems as easy as unplugging and plugging back in

    so the answers no, basically

go back to drawing things on yer pc adam, and leave the advice to people who have actually taken the top off a machine.

yes miele are good, but, the point in question isnt about longevity or quality, but the fact that long term, parts can and should be widely available to the trade and general public at large at a reasonable price.. and that in its own way is wrong

creating a machine that is, invariably repairable only by their own engineers isnt ethical, nor is it fair

i repair things adam, i dont pretend to be an expert in kitchen fitting because i saw my dad put a worktop on once… have you ( or anyone else) noticed i hardly ever advise on dishwashers?

because i hate them i repair them when i have to.. but i dont consider myself an expert

thats why i dont generally comment on the ise, ive never seen one, or were even aware they existed until i joined this site

HOWEVER the guys here are fully aware of them, and swear by them.. and thats not because theyve read which, or theyre in the hilton, its because, ultimately they can provide a substatial service to the customer, something that seems to have been lost by some of the larger companies that care more for profit than customers.

ok, so they make money out of it, but they are traders, thats why they do it!

Now adam, stop chatting bubbles, if your confused, read ‘which’ – time and time again, its been pointed out that you know very little, and have sparked many a healthy debate over your magazine quoting, and little knowledge fuelled by what you read in the press

the core of guys on here are genuine, honest traders, some with 25 years+ experience, they do this for no financial gain whatsoever, and their knowledge,is, in many cases second to none, ive learned a hell of a lot from these guys, and im sure the guys will say the same for me

what have they learned from you ?

    i rest my case
