ive never fitted a pcb yet

bearings are going down left, right and center

yes, ive had the fire!! and the motors really are bobbins, fit loads of em, brushes usually last at best 1 wash

and of course, theres a slow boat from china appears once a month, and thats to supply the whole of the country, so its not exactly helpful

i still think comet will stop selling them.. someone, somewhere will die, im sure of that

Put a blue sticker on it, that’ll sort it out :rotfl:

as usual, a balanced and open conversation involving all sectors 😯

when are you gonna get it? i ve said it before and ill say it again… i know what you think of comet engineers, and thats fine

of course im sure theres nothing you struggle with at all, and you write nothing off?

honestly, i do wonder why i bother

I replace interlocks on all machines i sell and they will plug in both ways so just easy to remember red interlocks, wires face front and white face inwards.

Which is more or less what I said in post #6, plus the older wiring plug will only fit the new white interlock if you remove one of the small lugs ( or whatever name you happen to call it ) 🙂

    Jim.

which is what i said in my 1st post

erm.. just have a quick check round, and make sure theres no other wires been pulled off when you took the motor off.. i.e heater wires 1st
main culprit for that is the pcb
just bare in mind it was fine before you put brushes in, so it could well be that youve pulled a wire off somewhere (we’ve all done it ! )

good luck, and make sure the plugs out!
