for a machine thats ‘only a couple of years old’ hotpoints final, version 3 service manual was issued in aug, 2003

if a part for a 2year old machine was obsolete, they would have exchanged it

its either worn carbon brushes or its a bad connection on the multiplug on the pcb!

worry about it not,, the tub will soon fail.. thats if the lock doesnt blow the pcb first

of course, thats if the lifters dont snap off for laughs

there are very few models around with an insulation band around the drum anyway

it would just finish, there would be no fault code shown

theyre located on the motor, in black holders attatched to the motorcasing.. the brushes shoud be 1-2 inches in length

what iadom is saying is that it sounds like a faulty cold inlet valve

u might want to check your carbon brushes

have you changed the pcb?

cos if not, the relays probably faulty on the pcb

well… the safety cut out cuts off the neutral supply to the pcb, rendering it dead

depends on variant though

accordig to the gias site, thees 5 buttons on that

the pcb clips into a conainer which has the buttons on it, the containr p/no (accordin to gias) is 41028745

it could just have pushed the pcb out of the container
