fair enough, changed a lot of top modules recently though for erratic flashing lights where the machine works fine, but lights flash during the wash

ariston i think?, check what iadom has mentioned, and also that the drier dial/knob is not cracked on the shaft, so that it can look to be ‘off’ but can actually be on a setting

what about the new price structure? how much wil that hurt everyone? if a bearing failed before easy(ish) call, just bearings & labour, now with sealed tanks how many independants can supply and fit a drum & any other bits for under the new £99 charge for all 5-10 yr old machines?

WOW was just thinkin today, trundling around the hills in me van, will i ever get to use my top loader clutches & pump again, or the twin tub belts i keep ‘just in case’ even the old 9605 motor, that was fun to fit & tension the belt, time ise bought the rights to the old top loader!!??, with brake adjustments, them were the days!!!, when you could actually find the broken bit & fix it 😥 😥 😥

Hi, disgruntled, sounds like you have had a rough time, but i will back up kiddo 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, engineers do not have the say on wether a machine will be replaced, an engineer can recommend it but in 99.999{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of times it will be rejected, if you are being told its up to the engineer then you are being fobbed off by the person who tells you this.

hi, the salt light is timed, not sensed, so after approx 30 washes it comes on as a reminder only to top up the salt, if your in a soft water area its not a problem

nope, its almost always the customer hitting the 2 buttons together, or the buttins may have unclipped from the back

these are a real headache to decipher which modul/eeprom is needed, it may have one of 2 types of thermistor or a sensor strip, best way to be sure of right one is to use the Date code/Serial number
