    Re: Frost free freezer

probably the drain hole, where the water goes out after a defrost, will be blocked, causing the water to run to the bottom then freezing

Hi, re-fit for purpose buttons, how else would you expect to use a machine without buttons? and yes if you spill coffee, tea or anything else over the worktop & it runs onto the machine it can ‘gum’ up the buttons, if any one button gets stuck it will stop all the others from working, as for the switch off for 5 hours, once a programme is set you can turn it off for 6 months and it will still try to complete that prog when next powered up, if you are unable to even start or cancel the programme then chances are it’s just a stuck button, good luck for tuesday

Hi, yeah it looks like the switch comes with the hose, 2 types though before serial number 51201 is C00094157, After 51201 is C00142435, never seen one of these leak though, cant really see how it could, more likely the join to the switch, motor or lower spray arm, has the pump been removed? or the lower spray arm boss may be loose

hi, is this an integrated machine? think it is, if so, dont think you can use the P button if it thinks the door is shut, but can set the test prog, any probs with the door catch?, also you may well have tried this, but can you set the prog by pushing the button on the module directly? ive had several where the P button doesnt make a good contact on the module button, hope this may help

Re: Ariston AL14 – Fill problems

yes, that valve will be the problem, it will fill on the last rinse because it uses the other cold valve to wash in the conditioner. easy fix.
