cheers, so is the L1244 the capillary length? so a FRG8800 at 1200mm would be likely replacement?

As a warning to you and any others, the stat is NOT designed to be re-set, you can cause a fire hazard by your method, a safety stat is just that, and single use only, get it replaced with a new one asap

    Re: Hotpoint WD640P F-08 Error

F08 = static heater relay fault for a Condenser Dryer, not a Washer
As Helo says, it will be more than likely a new board, or a relay if ur lucky

Re: Hotpoint SDW 60 Dishwasher – Error code 3

Hi, LED 3 (eco) is an F01 fault, water in base, take out plug, pull machine out, tip back & you’ll see water coming out from back, really need a test meter puttin on it then to check motor has not been soaked, or left for a day to dry out, may be a one off but if it does it again would need a close look as to where the water is coming from

    Re: Hotpoint WF320P Module?

hi martin, ill try to explain what me & helo mean

whenever you turn the power on on a WF machines the all the LED’s will very briefly flash, that is normal, (if they dont then its usually the main module)

if ANY button is stuck or if ANY button is jammed on, then the machine will not switch on, so yes, on a perfectly working WF machine, if you press any button in, the machine will not switch on

so, it could be any button/s stuck in, or a faulty switch on the control board

    hope that helps

    Re: Hotpoint WF320P Module?

hi, if you get the lights flash when powered on this is normal, if you cannot get it to switch on after that, 1st check the console buttons are all in place & not stuck, if that module seems ok, then yes its the main module,
the 143056 will require the correct eeprom, but will prob be superceeded to the new fitted eeprom type, then youll need the smart card & reader instead of the eeprom,

    see, clear as mud!¬
