    Re: Hotpoint FF187

    after code 71008 its a C00259475, before its C00259476,
But as i said, ive never needed to use one, just lower the existing heater so you have one run just below bottom of evap

    Re: Hotpoint FF187

if the ice was below the evaporator then its best to lower the defrost heater on the bottom few runs, so that one loop sits just below evap & prevents further build ups, (there is a kit also with an extra heater, but ive done it this way lots of times with no repeat problems)

Hi, F15 is dryer heater relay not working, worth taking the plug out & checking all the dryer connections & those to the module, also on the rear of drum may have a disc shaped thermistor, earth faults on these can give the problem, however, more likely to be a faulty main module,

hi, i use an Epsom, (always easy to get cheap carts for those) its a DX8400, printer/scanner, sits neatly on the desk, plus it connects into the broadband box so you can send items to print off from any pc/laptop in the house without needing to connect it to the pc

often the wires to the stat burn out, very rare for timer to fail on these

Hi, the retail cost of the module is over £90, so the £100 indesit way will be your cheapest option, also the comet part is only for the first year (unless you took an extended cover) so you can still use indesit,
the other point of reclaiming the cost of part under 5 years is a no go, you only get the part free if hotpoint/indesit fit it,

    Re: Hoover module please

well thats a pain in the ar5e, the pump was o/c, fitted new one last week, all was fine, (though the motor connectors looked liked they had overheated or got wet), all fine over the weekend, then today it stopped puming again, tested it & there is 178v permanently to the pump, even on fill, but never 240v on drain/spin, took module out & seem to be a few tracks no longer attatched to board,
so is hoover even worse than indesit then? ie there is no point even buying a module if it cant be programmed??
