the molded plugs can also fail & cause tripping, have been to a live/neut short this week on one, mains suppressor had failed

    Re: salt sensor

there isnt one!, the module just counts the washes and after a set number (around 30 i think) the light flashes as a reminder to re-fill, to re-set pour 2L of water into the base, (this makes the p/sw contacts and makes the machine think salt has been added)

hi, seen many of these with led problems, lights flickering or on permanently, would try the top board, usually about 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the times it will cure led problems,

no, the light should go off,

as helo says it does need a new module, also beware if continuing to use it as it is a sign that the dial is no longer corresponding to the programme you have chosen, so you may well be selecting a cool wash but the board will run a hot wash, needs fixing really

Re: Hotpoint BFI62 Integ Dishwasher – Help! Dead Button.

have you tried pushing the button on the PCB directly?, with it removed from panel, there is very little room for error in the lining up of module button & actual P button, other thing to remember is that a lot of the new modules come without the buzzer fitted

if it has 240v to the conditioner valve on the first fill it would be a wiring or timer problem, if there is not then it has to be a dispenser problem

Re: hotpoint wt761 wont turn off

that model does not use flashing lights to show erros, so sounds like the module must be at fault, are any of the buttons sticking?
