If I am having problems here I often logon to two other forums I frequent to compare, tonight they are both flying whist UKWG is very slow, although it has just gone back to normal.

Its like running in treacle ATM, on and of the past couple of days have been slow at all times of day. Just now it is just like the old dial up days loading any pages on my 2 meg connection. 😥

Opened the door several times whilst set on the main wash programmes to check on water level and spray arm rotation etc. It only did the fill/circulate, fill/circulate on the prewash for a short while then reverted to normal action. Just like a washer in which the clothes have absorbed some of the water or as used to happen in many old dishwashers when the circulation pump kicked in. Old Bosch/Hotpoint models of washers as well as dishwashers had a small air restrictor in the pressure hose to combat this.

    Re: Zanussi DWS909

I suspect that the act of dragging the machine out may have allowed the machine to work again when I tried it. I normally try and run a dishwasher first before lugging it out, had many Hotpoint slimline dishwashers that suddenly worked when dragged out and tipped back. 😉

will give them a ring and get all the required info in case it happens again.

Most likely cause is a faulty door interlock switch.

Re: Notify me when a reply is posted

I always have the notify option on, but there are occasional threads that I find interesting and try to remember to check back on them, memory not being what it was, a simple ‘subscribe to this thread’ button as found on V Bulletin forum software and others is very useful. Although at the moment Ntl’s e-mail service is goosed, has been a nationwide outage for last two days. 😥 So I am having to trawl the forum checking all the dates/times of posts ATM.

I think that a ‘subscribe to thread’ option is what Twoten was asking about.

Its been here before, in fact H5N1 was first identified almost ten years ago in the UK, the first time it had been seen anywhere in the world, think it was somewhere in Scotland at the time.

If you PM me your e-mail address, ‘quietly’ 😉 I will see what I can do. 🙂

Although my Ntl e-mail has been up the spout for the last couple of days, they are having major problems nationwide ATM.

There are several reasons for no heat on dryer cycle, most of which are not to expensive. You could have a look at Repairs@ to see if there is an independant engineer in your area, bound to be less expensive than Candy and more likely to get to you sooner.

Variety is the spice of life. I do not advertise my mobile number, and do not give it out to customers. I have an answerphone which these days most people are used to and will leave a message., 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time I have a full days work and would spend more time on a Monday/Tuesday answering the phone in traffic or in a customers house if I gave out my mobile number. The general lack of consideration that several customers ( usually so called friends ) have in ringing you at all hours is something that is bad enough on a landline, god forbid they ever get my mobile number.

A much easier way, although a little messy would be to post in the thread saying ‘interesting’ 😉 If you then use Mailwasher you can delete anything you do not want to view before you download your messages.

Or you could use V Bulletin, 🙂

According to the manual, 2+4 lights is heater related, heaters on these are prone to failure, you will more than likely need to replace the clips holding the heater in place if it does need replacing.
