If you are fitting the 1703662 drum to a back panel with square rear bearing the washer stays if to the tear drop back panel it doesnt.

As A1 says all stats overshoot required temp, to check temp you have to to take readings of a couple of cut outs and cut ins and work out average temp and you will find you are there or there about+or – 5 to 10′ C which is acceptable.

    Re: Hotpoint Power module question.

Jim i take it this module doesnt have a transformer and the one on the machine does, if so there is a kit 1603283 which comes whith wiring an earth clip and some locating pegs for the new module, you remove earth from the motor cutting at the spade conection on the console, the earth wire from the kit is attached to the motor and using the clip supplied clamped to the cabinet next to the motor all the wiring is identical otherwise.

    Re: Hotpoint Aqualtis AQXXD169PM

The Aqualtis has been out about a year now, and i’ve seen 3 one needed a pressure switch, another was a blocked pump and the 3rd one was a smashed door in Curry’s done in transit, going by the amount being sold and talking to other engineers they seem to be a reliable machine.
