    More than likely a pub failure do you have access to a insulation tester if so do a insulation check as more than likely something has cause the pcb failure poss heating element hope this helps you kai

    So got call out to one of these affected dryers today as customer contacted hotpoint to have modification done on a creda tcr2 but told them it was tripping the electrics hot points response to this get someone to fix that problem and and we will come and do modification to dryer, to which I had to explain to customer why I wouldn’t work on the appliance as clearly the blame would have been shifted onto me. So the way I left the customer was telling him to buy a new 1 what the he’ll are they playing at 😡 😡

    It’s a Metrahit 16i it’s a old model but the new model number is a metrahit 27i precision

    Try a metrahit they do insulation tester (meggar) continuty tester, temperature facility for ovens and fridges all in 1 and its a German make so the quality is very good and only the size of a normal multimeter (grossen metrahit) hope this helps you kai

    To make sure the appliance has been fitted to there instructions in the book which states it should be fitted by a gas safe engineer

    Cheers Steve had a heat pump motor from a Bosch d/w so used the wiring from that and managed to work out the wiring from a picture of the wiring many thanks for your reply

    Only 2 things which cause the ntcs to trip, the fan on the motor, or the condenser will be bloked hope this helps kai

    1st thing to try would be unplug the appliance for mains leave for a few minutes as the electronics can get confused

    If 1 of the brushes have gone this is due to overloading the machine and the motor should be changed. Pumps can also get noisey that’s the way they are if your under warranty tell them you that it is noisey they should replace it for you hope this helps you. Kai

    All I can suggest is insure it with d&g and have the manufacturer out to it the parts are very expensive as they are made by the candy group

    Sorry this is a sealed tank unless you have purchased insurance on it the 5 year parts warranty doesn’t cover labour

    The cupboard dryer anticrease lights flash so indicating a error which I think is air flow but don’t have access to error codes
