this model has a diverter valve fitted in the rear compressor compartment
worth checking to see if it has voltage or open circuit, if its the valve it will need a system recharge after fitting.

    Bob.
On this hotpoint the fridge is getting too cold and the PCB look fine.
There is a resistance around the coil but no voltage getting to it when tested. What voltage should there be? And should the voltage be present only when one of the compartments requires it?

    Go to http://www.neff.co.uk/cpimages/734726.pdf
The cut out is 490 x560.
This should have came with a 2 year warranty which is void if not fitted to spec.
    what is c/x?

    Re: Neff Induction Hob

Bsh had a lot of problems with Pcbs failing but it seemed to be due to inadequate ventilation. so if the customer does go for a repair,” very expensive”, make sure the cut out is adequate.
i f customer has lost the fitting instructions then if I knew the age i may still have the Neff catalog with specifications ect. therefore FD number may be required,

THE NEW STAT’S SHAFT WAS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO TAKE THE SELECTOR SWITCH. JOHN DONALLY AT STOVES ASSURED ME THAT IT WAS THE CORRECT PART QUALTEX HAD SENT ME. HE SUGGESTED THAT I ORDER THE SELECTOR SWITCH…
I GAVE UP TRYING AND THE CUSTOMER ACCEPTED A DIAMOND H 47THC26/230 WHICH I HAD ON STOCK. A WEEK LATER AND SHE IS HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.
HOPEFULLY THIS SAGA IS OF HELP TO SOME POOR SOD WHO GET INVOLVED IN ONE OF THESE IN THE FUTURE.

Returned this morning armed with penetrating oil. It came off eventually after finding an extra swivel arm. So in a nutshell each hinge has a circular disc that need turning AND a little arm that requires setting correctly.

    Re: belling oven stat

A two connection stat arrived. part number 082604989. I presume that you are meant to unscrew the selector/ changeover switch from the front of the original and replace it onto this new stat.
In the past very similar British type stats were supplied complete with selector.

There was a lot of talk about how important it was to keep the lubricating oils for R12 and R 134a separate.
Do you think it adequate to only change the dryer? or would you suggest extra purging of the system to clear out all traces of oil?

    Re: belling oven stat

I could see from previous post that other people had struggled with this problem in the past. Perhaps it is very straightforward but I could not find out, even from Belling, which stat would be supplied.
Decided to order the genuine Stat from Belling/Stoves/Dimplex and take it up with them if there is a problem fitting it.

Re: smeg fan element 2700 watt

An increase of 500w seems a bit too high. If the over was originally designed to run with a 2200w element an increase of 500w could overload the circuit inside the oven. I would fit the correct element.

    Re: meile T230C

i presume you mean the stat in the element box? has been known to be caused when the drum is stationary and the element remains on and overheats. in some cases even the pcb had to be changed to an updated version that shuts the heater off during the drum reversal.
