As you don’t say you’ve removed it, is the pump itself OK/not blocked/not seized?

When you say it washes you mean it “sloshes around” for a bit?
Is the circulation pump coming to a halt for some reason when it should be carrying on? (Blocked impellor for example?)

OK but could an o/c solenoid on the back of the timer cause this?Is it a “timer hold” solenoid or a timer “allow advance” one? Sorry to be a pain but this is all info we could all do with having in this searchable database if we’re going to stay ahead of the DIY brigade. 🙂 (I’ve probably got an old timer hanging around here somewhere with the same coil on it).
Thanks,

Chris.
The old one’s were good too. Easy to work on and spares cheap. Reliable too.
Mike.
PS. I’ll probably get half a dozen BER Bekos next week having posted this.December 6, 2005 at 7:51 pm in reply to: cooker hood DeDietrich dhd170xu blown 250Ma fuse on PCB #156997leavemetogetonwithit

Presumably it could happen if air flow was restricted by a clogged filter?

There are some other posts about it in other forums – tried the search?

Had a dodgy water valve on a 2 y old Beko dw a while back. Have you checked it? Could be a mechanical fault within it or “safety” magnet sticking.
Mike.
PS new valve was only a tenner from Seme.leavemetogetonwithit

Sounds like stuck in test mode due user pressing 2 buttons together by accident. Have you seen my post in “error codes”? (Halfway down page 3).

Thanks Dave.
Tried that and it works.

I get same problem if I want to retrieve all my own or anyone else’s posts. First page OK then “no topics..” etc.

I fixed one a couple of months back using a piece of plastic off an old 95 tub. Have also done a similar repair on a WMA machine.

Nice one Mick,
There’s a way of doing things without taking too much time.
Only problems are:
1. More and more machines with inaccessible terminals like Zanussis.
2. Are you gonna bother pulling the machine out and removing the lid (especially in a filthy kitchen with limited space and all the carrier bags stuffed behind the washing machine and “I’ll just have a sweep round there while you’ve got it out” 🙄 ) when it’s a WM series interlock?
