Hi Steven
Have you checked the “tactile” buttons on the PCB? have a look at the soldered conections with a magnifying glass there may be a crack in the solder, had this fault before although the last one ended up with a new PCB.

Chuck your neon tester away it is only good for a quick check for a live not for electrical safety or earth leakage
Test the motor with an insulation tester to get a correct reading 😉maltheviking
ParticipantRe: Leisure rangemaster 110
Hi Timjam
DH 40 series is the same as the 41 series but does not have the signal contacts (4 to P2) If you have fitted any of the Hotpoint 41er’s they come a with a convertion sheet, EGO to DH they are wire for wire except for terms 4 which is then connected to 4a
You should be able to fit the EGO wire for wire + swop 4a to 4 (but check which EGO you have been given)Go on to http://WWW.diamond-h.com and http://WWW.egoproducts.com for the details.
Hope this helps, one of these days I will do a complete cross reference for all the regulators 🙂

Why are you fitting an EGO, replacement switches usually come as DH 😕

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WD440 Error code F12
Customers used the machine a few times since I called and error hasn’t re-occurred 😕
I will double-check everything when I call back to fit the stat.
No doubt it will be the pigging electronics, bring back timers that all I can say they were bomb proof 😥maltheviking
ParticipantRe: Smeg dishwasher mains filter modification
Mains filters. dishwashers would it be feasible not to use a filter as there is nothing in a D/W to cause interference? I cannot see any possible protection for the circuit boards either, unless someone knows different :rolls:

Hi KarateGeorge
By the sound of it your machine will have a fault that you will have to get a engineer to diagnose and repair, they are quite a complex machine

ParticipantRe: bosch dishwasher
It’s got to be a blockage, you say you cleaned the hose out, is it blocked where the hose joins the sump? are the filters clean inside the d/w?

ParticipantRe: Connect what a joke!
Forget the delivery times, it’s Connect’s pricing that I can’t believe. I continuously have to ring them to get parts at the right price, do they listen?
I think they have got to big and don’t care about anyone just their own profits, at the end of the day they will loose out. When profits start to fall then they will look at being more competitive.Part from Connect…….£73
Straight from Bosch…..£68
Masterpart………………£20!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done Masterpart I can now repair another appliance and keep customers happy
