ParticipantRe: Hotpoint TL22 Tumble Drier
Most if not all dryers with crease care do this, I recall the old Hoover Logic series also included an alarm that sounded like a bee in a jamjar!

Without seeing a photo of the potential installation area I would say the answer is NO 🙁
Commercial grease filters are available to suit all areas such as your “inglenook” though and could be an option.
Attach a photo or a clearer description of your intentions though would be favourite 🙂

ParticipantRe: HELP VIBRATING HOTPOINT……………
Assuming the floor on which it stands is firm and not likely to be the source of your problem, I would suspect the dampers need checking out?
What model number is it anyway?

ParticipantRe: ISE forum
Yes you need to go in the downloads section and be part of the ISE sales & service network:-

Ah, pleased you spotted that ‘cos it’s a “Genuine Parts Catalogue” after all said and done 🙂
Maybe they will produce another catalogue to include their Invicta range and miscellaneous products later eh?

Not at all, twas many many years ago and a Bendix LTA was the machine. The guy installed rawlbolts into a concrete prefabricated wall and extended bolts that went through the sides of the machine and bolted at the front.
‘Tis true I swear! Just one of a thousand tales from an old codger like me 😉

ParticipantRe: Zanussi FX1465 w spinning problem
Grooster,
On this model the module is pre-configured anyway but I don’t think that is the trouble even if you wanted to replace it?
Problems like this always revert to the most likely wearing-out component and that being = the motor!
Megger the heater of course but look closely at that motor if all else checks out? I take it you are testing it with a full load of towels or similar as empty testing is a waste of time in a case like this. 😉

You’re joking?….who would do such a thing :rotl:
By the by, did I ever tell you the story of the guy that drilled and bolted his w/machine to the kitchen wall because the floorboards wouldn’t stay still?

A triumph of innovation that’s for sure and full credit to the guy.
I love Alex’s reference to the Gynaecologist by the way and if any in said profession are reading this, please give us more tips on working in confined spaces :rotl:

ParticipantRe: Crucader tumble dryer no heat
Rob,
The Heater and stats are at the back and the Reverse timer switches the heat also. Check the stat in the front drum surround also 😉

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint TD T620CW No Heat
Lets clear one thing up first, I think we are talking Creda here and not Hotpoint (Creda T620CW)
The fault more than certain is NOT the Relay in this case but the Timer (1702509) as the heat switch terminal burns out on these beasts more often as not 😉
The only fault the Relay can give you is not starting or starts up then stops after a minute or two.
