Probably the motor brushes or armature are the culprits rather than a fill/drain/pressure switch problem. 😉

I guess you refer to an FJS1225W ? In which case it’s possible the Door Lock is at fault?

Then you probably understand now why I got my knickers somewhat in a twist over it at the time. Fair enough mate and enough said on the subject I reckon. 🙂
Peace be unto you brother, may you make heap big money 😉

Complete Dispenser Top required and includes the electric gizmo at the back (Part No 8996454307993)….no need to mess with the gearbox thingy at all!

Well may I just explain that as these taglines were within the signature area I assumed (wrongly as it turns out now) our personal signatures were being accessed somehow by Trevor? And if signatures could be accessed then PM’s could be likewise? I haven’t a scooby doo after all as to how these work so my confusion was complete and total. 😕
Perhaps it would be prudent at this point for me to formally apologise to you Ken for my posting on the subject? I’m sorry you took it so personally as it was not directed at you at all! And with the benefit of hindsight, maybe I was a little hasty and harsh to air my thoughts so offhandedly without first asking about the implications? But in my defence and at the time I only added to Chris’ first observation at seeing what he considered spam and Mark mentioning ‘pay per future articles’???
Did you actually see what Trevor had written at the time of my first posting on these so called tag-lines (the Ho! Ho! Ho! bit he wrote) I wonder?
Ah no matter!
In future I will use this smilie (my smilie) more often in the hope my comments will not be judged too harshly by anyone! :martin:
Meantime…..sorry Ken! 😉

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WMA34 Problems
It likely will be costly to sort these problems. The earlier WMA machines had inherent main drum bearing problems which Hotpoint replaced the complete drum assembly to cure. Yours can be bodged by fitting new bearings but not recommended at all as an effective repair.
So perhaps a new m/c in the Jan sales may be the best option!
…or hang on til February and we have the new ISE machine launch you will surely be tempted by?

Baroda32 wrote:Got piles of washing and can’t get anyone out to fix it!
The best way to naff-up your washing machine without the knowledge or the correct tools is to bodge it yourself, and trying to access a pump on a Bosch WFL2260 is a prime example where it can go so badly wrong. 🙁
However I would seriously recommend you try our repair@ service to get this problem sorted with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience.

You’ll need a complete heater assembly available here

mattylad wrote:Rather than sell it off etc I was wondering about putting it outside.
It seems you’ve answered you own question here and as long as you have taken all the information to heart, you can’t go wrong. The only fear you may have that has not been covered on the subject is the atrocious weather you may have to brave in order to access the dryer 🙁

A word of caution over copying text direct from manufacturers service manuals as many are held in copyright by them. Reproducing such information on this site may be in breach of this ❗

ParticipantRe: NEFF S4132 Heater problem
Very likely the element has died or the overheat stat attached to it, so a new Element and Overheat Stat required.

Thanks for that Ken. Well perhaps I will leave the subject for now as I sense an air of frustration in your response at this time. 😉

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Trevor (the bot) is having fun right now tweaking with our signatures and stuff this Christmastide, clever stuff indeed 😉
I have to say I don’t like the idea of what I formally considered was my own private space being denigrated with what Chris so eliquently describes as….SPAM! 🙁
One good thing has come out of this though in that it has since dawned on me that if this can be done, so too can someone else read our PM’s I suspect?
…..maybe I’m just having an Epiphany ❓
