ajbaker wrote:Is there a quick description for getting the door spring tensioners back on?

Yes, with the door shut, simply lift the white plastic coupling with a pair of pliers back onto the hook of the hinges.

Your observation as to the leak sounds interesting and possibly simple to sort. Possible access to it via removal of the water inlet unit (on the l.h.s) may be required?

As to the 2 year guarantee bit boro mentioned, Bosch’s guarantee does not apply to a third party after all 😉

Oh yes…a perfect post Neptune being as many of us have taken advantage of the Detergent Training initiative so far!

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … opic&t=106

Meanwhile, and to try answering your question, firstly the correct dosage is the primary factor. Secondly the correct programme selection relative to the type of garments being washed and thirdly care to avoid overloading.

Whites going grey is very often a result of one or all of the above not being applied. Whites also need a bleach based powder and especially a biological one at that.

I hope that helps? But I am sure our Technical Trainers can elaborate further should you wish more detailed info 😀

im still at a loss to know why this is i must have put about 1 kg of salt in could this have been the problem or has it recharged the softening process

    Tim,

Bit difficult trying to translate what you are on about here?

But do please bear in mind that dishwashers do need salt in order for the water softener to function correctly. If you are using 3 in 1 tablets, you still do need to use the water softener and regularly put SALT in it!

Not sure exactly what you mean but usually when an Interlock goes it blows the neutral return track on the module. Loosen the timer/module and have a squint there? At best you may get away with soldering the link back on the board, at worst?…New Timer/Module 🙁

The minor drip?….Can you describe where you saw the leak?

Your machine is only 15 months old so it is unlikely the heater unit or motor are leaking but one never knows. A full strip-down to see may be the only action to be certain though. You are half-way there if you have the door off. Best give me a bell and for a modest extra fee I can check it out 🙂

Re: zan wjs 1265w not starting

Normally I would be certain the Interlock is at fault? Possibly I would try another? How long after you press ‘Start’ does it beep? ”Cos these machines ‘self check’ before starting and if say the valve or pump was open circuit, it would give an error like this. 😕 Worth a bit of a check around to see I reckon! 😉
