    Re: ApplianceAid.net-any comments?

As far as I know we here on UK Whitegoods have neither heard anything of this company nor anything against them. They are one of hundreds of such sites splattered all over the WWW.

If good prices, quality of services and trusting in your supplier is a priority for you? then I would recommend a local independent whitegoods supplier as the better option. 😉

Trading on the Internet is a no frills option where you have to take it as it comes and hope you don’t suffer as a consequence 🙁

    Good luck my friend! 😀

Now are you referring to the ‘Tank Cradle’? That is the plate that is attached to the drum that supports the shock absorber mountings?

Also, what is the full model number of your appliance AND its serial number?…(on the back usually)

You cannot ‘test’ an auto-sensing dryer without putting a load of damp clothing in it anyway, so I trust you had done this after finding a pump blockage? :lesson:

Sure they will and are usually very helpful and often have faxed me wiring diagrams and error codes on some problems I’ve encountered in the past…….Takes a while to get through sometimes (bet 3pm & 4 pm is favourite time to call).

This is why many of us do recommend Bosch/Siemens/Neff products so highly because they co-operate with the trade in total, and well for them I say 😀

    Re: Ariston AWD12 problem…

The user instruction booklet should refer to the Pump Filter and if your machine has got one behind that Kick Panel then it is designed for ‘user access’ 😉

Take a peek why don’t you, but do please :plug: TURN THE POWER OFF FIRST :zap:

Just guessing now Keith, but brush contacts on drum? float switch operating? Are you getting plenty of air suction at the fan inlet, bottom right side?

I dunno what the flashing error indicates between the “Dry” & “Easy Care” so I suggest you give Bosch Technical a bell (0870 2426660) 💡

    Dragan,

Not found a wiring diagram on SIOS I’m afraid, but check the relay terminal hasn’t burnt out on the Module and the Door Interlock of course 🙂

Pump filter blocked (behind front kick panel) I think you will find?

Look in your user booklet which shows how to access the pump. I reckon it is restricted with crud? Take the cover off and check carefully with a torch (carefull lest there be broken glass down there lurking???)

If that hose is clear and the machine fills normally (the NORMAL being that as it fills the circulatiog pump operates, filling continues until the small white button operates the microswitch to turn off the inlet valve).

If all that happens OK? Then I venture to suggest that your water pressure is a little too high, needs the stop-cock turning down somewhat AND more importantly to check your copper pipe fixings to their source as they possibly not secured properly to create the annoying banging noises in the first place 💡

Quite a journey to herd goats I have to say but here is the best route with guaranteed fodder and water to keep them happy all the while:-

Head south through the Forest of Rossendale, up over Calderbrook to pick up the Pennine Way and head towards Glossop and the Snake Pass. Head south towards Buxton and the Wye Valley.

You can avoid the higher ground of the Peak District if you stay on the western edges towards Leek. Keep slightly east of the smokey Potteries along the Trent Valley until you catch a whiff of the hops coming from the direction of Burton -on -Trent and the rich arable fields of Leicestershire are dead ahead!

Head due south through the fields of Swadlincote towards Sheepy Magna

then gather your flock across the hedgerows and into SIBSON. 😀

Mike the Manager @ The Millers has been forewarned your special request for plenty of straw bedding and a water trough is laid on too!

A visit to your local council tip will make you spoilt for choice at the assortment. With many makes that have a top concrete counterweight, simply remove that then fill a hot water bottle, place it in the drum then…

….stand well back (and at this point you will need to have fire crews and ambulance in attendance) before finally hitting the spin switch at the end of a long pole…!

    Re: Indesit W103 Help!!!!

2 possibilities, Firstly something caught between the inner and outer drum (the outer being a plastic compound material.) and secondly the inner drum is loose (bearings collapsed) and it is rubbing against the outer drum. 😥

Either way it could be a costly fix 🙁
