For your own ‘protection’ I suggest you’d better stick with me. That way I can point out the things you may want to ask but, for whatever reason, daren’t :rotfl:
The very mention of the subject will only put fuel to the fire to some members (who incidentally, will be present at this meeting). So please, for your own good sake, carry on chewing the nosebag ’til I get there tomorrow morning :rotl:

You obviously don’t do Zanussi tub/bearings changes then 😆

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint dryer plus 9315 – strange noise
Probably well worth a bit of a overhaul I reckon
It most likely has got worn front drum bearers (probably worn away just behind the grey door seal and rubbing metal on metal?).
Get a local independent in to fix it (don’t use it any more meanwhile – you’re doing damage all the while).
Try Repairs@ for a local engineer to take a look for you 🙂

No, not without moving panels 🙁 (See my previous comment)

ParticipantRe: Thomson local are they any good
I dropped Thomson Local a year or more back. Total waste of money IMHO 🙁
Have you read this earlier thread on the subject of Thomson and Yellow Pages I wonder?

Your washer dryer is suffering from a blocked condenser unit I should imagine. Also you need to check the drain filter regularly as they get blocked and restrict the drain outlet flow.
The machine is complex in nature and taking off panels and lids is not a recommended DIY exercise. Therefore I strongly advise contacting a local independent engineer (although not the last one apparently 🙄 ).
We may have one listed via this link: Repairs@ to get it sorted. 😀

Good Lord! and you spent over £100 on a new Timer Module Unit for nothing :con:
Now I have to say that the most logical faults are often overlooked by many who assume the worst as is true in this case. I haven’t a clue what the fault is likely to be from this remote location BUT if I were there I would look around for the obvious :lesson:
Vibration the main factor causes wires to break, rub and chafe. Connector blocks come loose from motors and pumps. Door Locks easily go open circuit. Mains suppressors/filter units do funny things…all need close attention.
On Whirlpool machines their sophisticated circuitry shuts down totally if something like a wire is off the heating element for example?
Look closely for these signs. :boops:

ParticipantRe: Bosch WTE6920GB/01 T/D cuts out
Not a scooby-doo without looking at it. Doubt if it’s the temp sensors, clearly it gets used a lot if she’s done 3 dry loads since last time you posted 🙄
I’m sticking with the pump/float chamber and blocked water tank hose fault again. Have you actually checked the nozzle that attaches to the water tank inlet?
Anyway, you have at least got Bosch’s helpline number now 😉

ParticipantRe: [b]Candy eclypsa ce10 drum removal
Oh dear! Have you got a problem?
Firstly the whole drum assembly has to be lifted out of the cabinet to even access the bearings for replacement. Best of luck!

Are you a Radio Ham by the way?

ParticipantRe: Creda Fan Oven – fan working but oven not heating
As your oven is fairly new it is likely simple enough to carry out a fan element change 🙂
Advice in this regard cannot be dwelled upon or given for certain legal reasons but any competent person with electrical knowledge and the right tools can do it in a few minutes.
If you qualify that criteria and know where to SWITCH OFF THE POWER :plug: then simply give us the Model number of the appliance and we can supply the part you need by emailing the information to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
Alternatively if you wish a local independent engineer to call by and sort it for you at modest cost?, then click this link: Repairs@

ParticipantRe: Indesit W133 leak
Then you’re in trouble on this one I’m afraid 😥
The drum is a sealed stainless steel (tinfoil quality 🙁 ) and is not serviceable or even accessible. Most likely the screw you refer to is the ‘Heater anchor’ (holds the heating element in the middle of the drum and prevents it moving) 🙄
Complete new Drum Assembly is the answer and unless it is covered by an extended warranty of some kind, its Goodnight Vienna 😯

ParticipantRe: Hoover AAA160
Bearing Kit? AAA160001?…………..Nope, DRUM ASSY or dig out the bearings and water seal for their respective ID numbers, but that is a complete waste of time without a new drum shaft fitting anyway 🙄

Have you checked the Pressure Switch I wonder? Especially removing the small black rubber hose to it, then plugging it in?
