ParticipantRe: WASH-VAC SITE 24/08/05
Since my last posting on the subject today (which I have deleted since receiving a phone call from the powers that be at Parts Center 🙂 )
Here is an official up-date: –
Those that continue to enjoy their STOCKLINK software are advised to up-date on or before Tuesday August 30th (up-dating on that day would be best) The Stocklink software will no longer have a ‘time date stamp’ on it and therefore will continue to operate ad infinitum 😀
Obviously beyond that date the information will rapidly become outdated regarding prices of course, part numbers may change but the photos and diagrams will be very useful to have on the van for many months to come I’m sure, so that will be a great help out on the road for me at least.
Many of you regular Wash Vac/Stocklink users may know Miss Claire Hammond in their IT dept in Sittingbourne. She is responsible for and working all hours at the moment, burning the midnight oil even, putting together the Identiffier parts onto their new website. She readily admits there is a long way to go yet especially with adding all the makes and the thousands of different model numbers to get it all together. 😕
So there we have it so far and I believe another management announcement is due us very soon! 😉

In that case the pump has got blocked. Remove the filter and undo the Torz headed screw (T20 size) holding the pump cover in place (see your user booklet) Lift the cover clear and check for anything stopping the impellor blades from turning (be careful in case of broken glass!)

Has the fuse blown?
At any time with power to the machine and the light on, when you ‘reset’ the machine it should drain for 60 sec then stop, does that happen?

ParticipantRe: Bosch SMS 5012 dishwasher controller timer motor
The Inlet/Safety Valve trouble then most likely (nothing to do with Timer)

andy_art_trigg wrote:Cheers Martin, Is there a method of resetting or clearing the code?
Quoting from the manual: –
“In software versions V97 & W97, diagnostic mode is activated by switching the power switch on whilst the Dirt Level button is held down and deactivated by turning the power off.
In software version V102 (serial number L006797 onwards) diagnostic mode is activated by switching the power switch on whilst holding down the temperature button. Release the temperature button and press the soil type button within 5 seconds of the power being switched on.
The displays shows the number of cycles, the last 3 fault codes and the software version.”
It isn’t clear to me exactly how one clears the error coding on the V102 version but possibly it can be deactivated by turning the power off after entering the diagnostic mode perhaps :con:

andy_art_trigg wrote:I wonder if you know what Dyson FAULT F15 means.
Well in addition to what I posted in the “Known Error Codes” thread….
F15 =
Excessive dirt build-up on running surfaces of Actuator & Ramp
Break in continuity, connections at edge connector, in line connector, soldered joints on actuator motor or microswitch or wire broken.
Actuator Motor bracket broken (Motor out of position).
Actuator Plate Posts bent over due to deformation of Actuator Plate.
Motor burnt out!
and finally…Microswitch broken 😥Martin

Good point Bob, I think that machine does have a variable spin speed switch with a ‘no spin’ position…crickey 😕

I’m sure you are right there Tony and I for one see no reason for anyone to be upset over this issue. The unification of the trade in open discussion has always been the lifeblood of UKW to the advantage of all who participate. This splendid free resource is for all to gain from provided we all cooperate in a fair and open marketplace to everyones advantage.
Kevins post is very blunt but very much to the point but unlike Kevin I have every wish to use your excellent services now and in the future. But do please consider an alternative pricing structure if you wish to offer your services to the public at large to appease all of us ‘in the trade’ and you may well get a lot more work put your way as a result 😉

ParticipantRe: Creda/WM type no spin.
I will stand by what I think is the fault. Just one question though on this….when you set it say on to a fast spin only, does it take ages to even attempt to ramp into the first spin mode and seem to hang in distribute mode?
If so = new armature (i.e. ARM20)

A certain firm in Birmingham is also asking questions about them 😯
Wanting the names of reps and stuff like that :con:

It’s the armature that’s stuffed I reckon :lesson:
Wouldn’t be a Creda 17085 by any chance????
