You have posted this in the wrong place however I would strongly advise you to ring Hotpoint on 0870 9066066 and get an engineer to fix it under guarantee :lesson:

You are probably right in your assumption then 🙁

Some of the little drive motor cogs are known to slip down the shaft and not engage with the nylon gearing on the timer body. That may be a thing to check, you can also buy the Timer Drive Motor as a seperate item.

And also there is a few companies around the UK that recon these timers 😀

What is the full Enr number of your dishwasher (including the 4 digit FD number)

Thought so, and it looks like the main wash motor has seized….expensive to sort I’m afraid 🙁

    Re: drum not spinning

The motor needs removing first to replace the brushes (Part No: 154740 available via spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk)

However it would be inexpensive and easier to get a local independent to do it for you, try this link for one in your area: Repairs@

I wonder if, after the tub fills with water, you can hear a faint humming noise? Thus indicating the main wash pump has seized 🙁

The dishwasher cycle is such that when first you turn it on you will hear the drain pump for about a minute, then it starts to fill….what happens after it has filled???

Re: servis m3114 automatic 1100 , wiring diagram

There are no diagrams available wayne 🙁

You will have to try reconnecting it the hard way as we have to by tracing each wire, one by one, colour code to colour code 😯

Some of the all black wires have a small number printed on them so you can trace back each and every one. 😉

Sorry mate, not easy…welcome to our lot on this problem 🙄

I wonder why you would need one as they are normally very reliable?

However you can get a replacement via this link: http://www.bshappliancecare.co.uk

Scholtes is part of the INDESIT group and maybe they can help? I wonder why you would need operating instructions 😕

Yes indeed from what you say, the Timer is in fact, as we say in the trade here in the UK…..

    Re: dishwasher fault

    sharp,

Please understand that your dishwasher is a complex piece of kit that requires expert attention at this point. It is NOT something you can fix and it will not cost you anywhere near £87 to get a local independent repairer is as Dave Conway suggested in his last post. I will go along with that idea purely as your next best course of action to resolve this! 🙂

DAR01 wrote:Is this indicating a fault on the machine or is there a problem with the control module.

Very unlikely the Module is at fault as long as when you ‘reset it’ it pumps for 60 secs then turns off, thus indicating it is OK.

I would, as Rocker suggests, check the obvious especially the water level system, flooded base etc etc 😉

    Re: AristonAIB 16

If you have plugged in a new Pressure switch? and have had the control module checked out OK then you will have to check out all the other obvious troublespots.

Check things like : Air hose leaks, heater down to earth, NTC open circuit. Pump open circuit or dodgy motor??

It’s ‘poke and hope’ on these beasts after all. 😕 Indesit engineers throw parts at these machine in a desperate attempt to locate faults. You most likely will have to take the longer route or walk away from it. 🙄

Motor may need some attention, also out-of-balance circuitry a look at. I guess you are not in the UK though for us to take a look at it are you?
