Please ask that of whoever your warranty is with 💡

Apparently (so I have be told?) all the UK wholesalers use the same supply source (as I suspected). And not having seen a Europart brush, please could you tell me if it is 4mm? or 5mm?

ParticipantRe: Bosch 5312
Ah! but the Welsh are a canny bunch and most likely they would hold onto such a good machine! 😀
(Assuming you refer to a Bosch SMS5312 Dishwasher that is?)

ParticipantRe: Indesit Evolution 1600 WE16S – F-02 Error????
Its a duff motor you are looking at or at the very least OR the magnetic coil at the end of the motor has become faulty or detached 🙁

Dai R wrote:Does the machine have to pulled out of the units to access the heater?
Yes it does, but oh dear NOT a DIY job I’m afraid, rather technical and difficult to access and best left to us experts. Would recommend you try Repairs@ to call out an engineer in your part of the world to check it out. 😀
It may also not be the heater at all of course, a number of vital checks need to be established by an expert on site

Pistol wrote: any tips on how to tell if it’s because of a stretched belt or a fault with the OOB mechanism?
If it refuses to spin when it’s empty (just tumbles backwards and forwards over and over again throughout the timed final spin phase) then it is likely the Module circuit board is at fault. Or a faulty water heater can give a similar effect to being O.O.B 🙁

ParticipantRe: Siemens/Bosch D/W leak triggering antiflood
SimonT,
Leaking Pressure Chamber system from blocked fill tube to tank. Minute pin holes in s/steel tank around square filter recess or salt cap. Spray arm not located properly and water overflowing bottom door seal.
All likely suspects 😉

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Washing Machine/Dryer
I would go along with Tony on this, give that condenser a good clean whenever the thermal fuse has gone!

ParticipantRe: Indesit WE12 SUK
Indesit makes them and coins it in the process, however, process coins in an Indesit does the opposite :rotfl:

ParticipantRe: hotpoint washing machine wma58
Sounds like the pump is not working or the sump trap is blocked, both need a close look I would say. 😉
:plug: DO PLEASE UNPLUG THE MACHINE BEFORE REMOVING THE BACK PANEL :zap:

ParticipantRe: Siemens/Bosch D/W leak triggering antiflood
Hey simtoms do please help us to help you 🙂
How about giving us a clue as to what model machine you refer to first to save us listing all the various likely options that one could encounter with antiflood systems 😆

Participantalexa wrote:and it will be another week that my wife will be without the machine
Ah! that reminds me, about 4 or 5 years ago, I think it was, I had taken on a job about 30 miles from home. Having spoken to the customer I figured her pump was a goner (If you’ll pardon the expression) and it would be a tasty £150 plus job to sort, I arranged to call the next day.
Next morning, sifting through my jobs to make sure I’ve got what bits I needed on the van etc etc. Suddenly I discovered that I didn’t have a pump to fit the job 30 miles up the road after all 🙁
Sudden brainwave came over me…. 💡 to take the pump out of the wifes machine… 💡 ….brilliant thinking Martin!
So I took out the pump and duly fitted it to the ladies machine (perfectly good pump by the way re-sold at bargain trade price of course 😉 ) …..everyone was happy 😆
Errr! well it was, until my wife turned on her machine the following weekend….. 😥
