Re: info on NEFF double oven

The model number will help 😉 , but without that info can I ask does the clock display illuminate at all? If so what shows? (does it have “Auto” in the display?

    Re: Adjusting pressure switches

All modern Pressure Switches without exception cannot be adjusted!!! 🙁

Whilst they do have adjusting ‘pots’ for various levels within, usually they are sealed with some sort of adhesive to prevent air leaks and tampering.

    Dazzler,

Yes indeed the drum Paddles are replaceable (Part No : C00064789 – Cost around £3 each). Possibly available via our “shop@” also?

    Norah,

Indeed the first thing to check is the fuse as you rightly suggest 🙂 It is likely your cooker hood has a seperate fuseable switchbox somewhere close to it, where it is plugged in. Either in a cupboard or above the wall cupboard on the top of a cupboard. Maybe even a seperate RCD trip switch has failed at your mains fusebox :con:

Your need to source this first and check it out 😉

Re: Hotpoint WMA32 not taking away conditioner

    Seamy,

When the fabric conditioner is activated on a WMA series BOTH cold solenoids are energised together. The idea being that the convergance of flow down both channels forces the water FORWARD at that juncture towards the fabric conditioner channel on the F/L/H/Side 😀

So there are 3 possibles here for you to check, one, not enough mains pressure, two, channels blocked or restricted and finally not both solenoids are working :con:

    Alex,

A bloody brilliant post my friend, just what is required, detailed testimonial that fully explains the situation for all to see, public, Wp’s and all. Can you get any of your customers to post their tales of woe, or can anybody else for that matter? It would really help our case 🙂

I don’t think it’s a Bosch made machine Mark and that would be the reason for it (Possibly a Balay or some such I expect 😕 )

And great news that Masterpart at least have the Bearing Kit as no other pattern supplier does :con:

Well the GOOGLE EFFECT has taken place on this (5th place on Page1), which my customer (bless her heart) has posted into the public forum  (I must admit I too thought Kens reply was a bit, shall we say..confusing for a public forum 😕 but hey! We are up and running on it 😀 )

YOU WANTED THE PUBLIC TO START THE THREAD…YOU GOT IT NOW!!!

We really need to push this to get it to work, perhaps asking your customers that have fallen foul of BG who could also post something on the same thread to really make it ROCK THE BOAT 8)

I’ve done my bit, my conscience is clear, over to you guys

    skims,

The insulation reading (between any earth point on the element) and its terminals should be less than 1 megohm. However whilst that is the legal requirement, it is unacceptable even at that I reckon. In fact if you have a reading less than 10 megohms I would replace it without question.

The ideal reading on your megohms scale is ‘infinity’ and that will indicate a perfectly serviceable element

You’ve probably broken the Door Handle I expect? Is it now a little on the loose side and doesn’t seem to engage? If yes to the above you will need to replaced it (Part No: C00065250 cost about £3.20)

Re: Indesit Dishwasher DG6300 water circulation

Capacitor incorrectly wired or a faulty (even a new one can fail) 🙁

The motor to pump linkage should be really very free to turn in any direction, it may also be over/under tightened?

Sounds like you may have cooked the new motor in the process though as the are not very resilient at the best of times 😯
