I reckon you could easily get 99p for it on eBay and not be troubled with having to take it to the tip. 💡

Are you sure the delay timer (aka the ‘Ready In’ button) hasn’t been set by mistake?

I’m sure the cowboys and incompetents of this trade would have little or no obligation towards “self regulation” in pursuance of their daily activities. Besides pledging the oath of allegiance to a trade association does little or nothing in warding off the inept.

Cowboys rarely survive long though many learn by the trail of past mistakes. Given Simon’s example of the employee from hell going on to work for both Siemens and BG leaves us wondering if he ever learnt from his cock-ups? Probably not, who knows?

I Googled up and found that someone with no sense of smell suffers from ‘congenital anosmia’. I seriously doubt any potential employee who ever be asked if he or she is a sufferer as a prerequisite to getting a job. In my day you only had to pass the colour blindness test in order to do this type of work and I doubt even that is a requirement these days.

With just .5cm that is tight. Not much wiggle room at all so you will have a job getting it in and out!

Re: Bosch Ecologixx 7 dryer – no or little heat

Transporting it on it’s back could well have caused oil to get into the refrigerant and render the heat pump system useless. (Especially so if the appliance was used within 24hrs of it being placed upright). You are best advised to contact the removal company and inform them the machine was damaged by them. (Their liability insurance should cover such mishaps).

You, or they, will then need to contact BSH Appliance Care and get them to fix it.

Don’t you think the heater failure the issue rather than the detergent?

Often created by lots of moisture content in whatever is being cooked. For example: roasting potatoes, frozen chips, baking apples. Even grilling bacon and tomatoes where the door has to be shut can produce a lot of excess moisture with nowhere to go but run down the door glass.
