2 yrs 10 months? Do you think that not an unreasonable lifespan for a motor then? How many wash cycles has it done? 3,000 maybe 4,000 in that time?

OK well I thought it could be that the magnet door lock (aka hall sensor) may just be sending the wrong signal to the electronics hence the odd behaviour. Just a thought that’s all. 😕

It might be associated with the magnetic door switch engaging and disengaging? Is it stood on an uneven floor?

The manual makes no reference to EH0. There is an EHD which indicates a main board fault ‘Current leakage of any actuator’ (whatever that means :rolls: )

Any error starting EH? refers to a board fault of some kind.

Further info? The do give us the FULL PNC 😉

A silicone bung or better still Steel Putty would sort it. Though I have no clue what that hole is about. And as mentioned earlier, nothing shows up on the parts drawing. 🙁

Beko would be a perfect choice. No frills, does the job, good for 5 + yrs, no great capital outlay, sorted!

I doubt a squirt of switch cleaner would have any effect but is sounds like contact is made intermittently with adjacent programs in that off position. But worth a try I suppose before changing the board. 🙁

Relax Jonny, have no fear, for it will be stripped of all its constituent parts. All of which will be recycled to make pedal bins, traffic cones and cavity wall insulation. 🙂

Nothing wrong with the knob then, no spillages behind it or some such?

I know you checked the airflow but did you actually lift the blower fan to see if the vanes are clear?

Fluff block in bottom corrugated hose?

Customer switching it off before the end of the dry cycle maybe?

Forget the outlet system as that must be clear then. The drain pump must be worn and reacts badly to HOT water, I reckon.

The bottom left and bottom right pins do look as though they’ve overheated. Probably looks pretty burnt on the track side too?

Or, the black rubber sump hose pipe that runs to the air pressure chamber is blocked with the dreaded ‘gunge’. 😕

    Re: Neff dishwasher S41E50SOGB

    Three possibilities:

    Pump worn and needs replacing.

Non-return valve in pump outlet port partially restricted with debris.

Drain outlet hose system gunged up with detritus.

    That should cover all. 😀
