ParticipantRe: Model numbers explained
A Beko tumble dryer will NOT work in a garage where the temperature falls below 5 deg C. In fact any dryer with electronic thermistor controlled heating will not operate under such extreme conditions.

Err maybe, but more a reality check. Kim’s probably spotted the “go Argos” ad over Christmas flogging 1600rpm Beko’s for £179 I shouldn’t wonder. 😀

ParticipantRe: Bosch Classixx 1200 Express has no power
Very likely the main power board has failed. But to establish that you first need to lift the lid and check that power is going to it. That involves a degree of live testing so not recommended for those lacking electrical knowledge. :plug:

4 years is a good lifetime and I expect Kim has gone back to Argos for another one! 😉

I’ve no idea what the hell a WMXTF is but a clue as to what may be wrong is in your last sentence. 😉

The repair receipt will most likely be destroyed in the explosion.

The spring hook ends sit in the front square slots. The spring flat side against the metal probe the raised edge of which points outward. A nice fiddly job for nimble fingers and plenty of patience. 😕 🙂

ParticipantRe: Does a NTC sensor prevent the heater from working?
Its so much easier if you stick to one problem, one thread. Spreading it about only leads to confusion. I assume you’re referring to your errant Candy dryer? You were given expert advice there, and yes the front NTC very likely IS the reason it won’t heat.
😡 :rolls:

All groovy stuff I’m sure but what insulation readings does the heater, and for that matter, the motor come up with? Any earth leaky and the programne goes geeky. ❓ 😈

So, just to clarify your post then ( as I get easily confused). Select position 15, then press and hold the Start button for 3 seconds, then turn it to position 3?
I must now ask, which way do you rotate the dial? I’m thinking anti-clock? Otherwise you pass the off and in so doing you fook the process up…?
Please clarify?

The program selector is asking you to select the wash temperature option (I think?) 🙂

ParticipantRe: Zanussi washer dryer fault code? E20?
E20 on dry means the condenser unit is blocked with fluff. Remove, clean and peace will be upon the Earth this Christmastide. 8)
