Has it got twin jockey pulleys or just a single one?

Connects number for the twin is 5031683019091

I think the machine may be a whirlpool with the belt being a 1970 H7 (or 1965 H6)

I find low readings due to carbon dust around the brush holders.

Hi Tony, If the resitances are about the same I would see no reason why the spade type shouldn’t do the job. And probably more reliable with decent spade connectors rather than the flimsy idc plugs.

    Hi trainer,
I had this problem before which was cured by replacing module with ntc attached.
    Cheers

If the noise is there before the drum starts to turn, then I would say it’s very likely to be the drain pump worn. This is a very common fault and not expensive to fix.
Unplug machine first if going in.

    Hi Geoff,
I think you can still drive a vehicle up to, but not exceeding 7.5 tonnes, with an ordinary car license.

Re: Creda dryer getting too hot?

I have been to a similar machine where the whole cabinet was getting very hot and it turned out that the rear drum seal had at some time caught fire 😯 and the hot air was blowing past it :rolls:

sounds like motor open circuit – check brushes – unplug machine before going in though.
