The way things are going, I wouldnt be suprised if the capacitor is moulded into the drum 😀

Re: INDESIT W/D (IWDE126) Error on drying cycle…

    SOLVED…

The error code was indeed relating to a drying over heat fault.

Where the plasic chamber attatches to the rear of the drum there is a plastic filter that was completely bocked with wet fluff/lint and gunge. Removing the plastic chamber and cleaning this filter solved the fault. I did also replace the NTC, but the restricted airflow in this area was obviously causing the problem.

    Cheers.

    Ok thanks!

Just to clarify the OP was stating sixteen (16) flashes – not 6 as my typo says

Have physically hooked a new element to it with no change.

Thanks for the reply though. Could be wiring etc.

Please, is there a list in which the error codes are listed?..

iadom wrote:Question, does it display the wash light, even when set to drain or spin?

Stretching my memory to the max… I believe the wash light is illuminated upon pressing the start button, a good 30 seconds pass before the Error code is display via the flashing LED’s. It was the same on wash, spin and drain…

Also Thanks for the confirmation @Martin 😀

Re: Belling IDW603 access to drain pump

yes take off both sides and tip machine on it’s front, then remove screws that hold base into position, they are at the rear. The base (complete with feet) drops down without any major obstructions… Can’t believe it, all that to get to the drain pump, madness.

Many thanks for the info here – I have added it to my error code list 🙂
As it turns out the customer only ever had the fault once and it resolved itself without me even visiting.

Re: Miele G638plus – D/W not advancing through cycle.

As far as i can tell, the machine is sensing/heating to the correct temperature. It will turn the heater off when 50 deg. is reached, only it will not empty this water out, it will just continue to do the wash action.

I am correct in assuming that once the correct temperature has been reached the PCB will turn off the heating element, then wash for a timed period of about 5 minutes, THEN empty the tub and start the rinses.

Thanks Bob, can i ask how you have come to this cobnclusion? I can get no info on what these sensors should be reading (ohms) when they are not faulty 🙁

    Thanks.
