ParticipantDoor lock symbol flashing ??? Could it be the child lock has been activated ?
Press and hold the start button for 5 secs to see if the key symbol disappears

ParticipantDon’t forget the internal 8/10a fuse too. If the main inverter board has gone , it’s more than likely taken the fuse out too.

ParticipantIt will prob need a new start capacitor for the motor . Also , because of no drum action , the machines overheat protection temp limiter may have gone open circuit .
Unplug the appliance , remove the back panel and look for a small black component with a red button . Push the button and it should ‘click’ back in. This will hopefully reset the temp limiter but you will still need the capacitor to get the motor running again.

ParticipantTry it on a cold wash and see if it progresses to the end as normal. If it does work normally then there is a 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} probability that its the heater.
Feeling heat through the door is no real test. The only way to make 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure is to do a continuity test of the heater element itself. It’s resistance should be about 28ohms .

ParticipantIt should always change the time to coincide whichever programme is selected on the dial. Strange if it isn’t changing from :55.
Have you checked for any earth faults on heater etc ?

ParticipantChris , its sometimes worth trying a few runs at the lowest spin speed first , gradually moving up in speed in case the new brushes need bedding in.
However , if the worn brushes were that low , maybe exposing the copper braid , they may have damaged either the commutator or the motor has overheated due to excessive arcing and sparking.nomadPaul
Participantdoes the :55 show up because thats the time of the selected cycle ?
The 3 beeps i’m sure is a door lock problem…..do you get exactly the same connditions/beeps if you try and start the appliance with the door open ?
I’d re-check that door lock and also the hook on the door to make sure that its engaging properly.nomadPaul
Participantdid you remove the plug from the motor when you changed the first set of brushes ? The cable loom would have been cable-tied to a small bracket on the bottom edge of the motor. If you don’t fit another cable tie to secure the loom adjacent to the motor plug , the excess vibration can , in a very small minority of cases , cause a problem with a cable working loose from the plug itself.

ParticipantYou have a problem with the water coming into the appliance – ‘3’ in the display indicates a fill time out.
You will need to be looking at your incoming water pressure , both hot and cold , maybe checking the filters in the hose connections where they connect to the machine. Failing this , you may have a faulty valve on the valve assembly.
If you’re handy with a multimeter , you could check the valves for resistance – approx 3.6 to 4.5kohms – Open circuit on one of these valves would mean a replacement valve set.

ParticipantF11 is a control fault ( 2 ) – It seems the board may have gone pear shaped mate .
nomadPaul
ParticipantCommon fault Bernie – It1ll be the flow rate meter ( impellor jug ) part no: 424099.
Its the while cylindrical component fitted on the inlet hose between the water matrix on the left and the inelt hose itself.

Participantit sounds like you’ve put a brush or both in the wrong way. The longer edge of the brush should be on the same side as the connector.
i.e on your motor , looking at it from the brush end , the connector pushes on from the right so the longer edge is on the right too.
nomadPaul
ParticipantWhat was wrong with it initially ? My guess it was a no heating problem . These machines normally use the last wash time duration as a starting point for the next wash cycle. You may find after a few washes , presuming its heating up , the times will correct themselves .
nomadPaul
ParticipantIs it heating up ? If it reaches its end time and still hasn’t heated , it may be jumping back to a longer time. This will then be set as the ‘duration’ time for the start of the next cycle.
nomadPaul
ParticipantYes , it is tilted forward . Be careful dependant on the floor. If its shiny tiles , you might want to put something under the front feet to prevent slippage. By tipping the appliance forward , as well as giving you easier access , it causes the drum to push forward slightly giving a touch more room between the drum/motor and the rear casing.
