ParticipantRe: Bosch SD13GT1B not draining
I don’t recognise that model number Irwin….If its a Bosch , you may have put up an incomplete or incorrect number . Check again

ParticipantIt sounds like moisture has got into the main board and shorted out some of the tracks or relays . It may be just the board thats gone without any other component being affected.
Is there a large section blown on the board or is it a single component

ParticipantThe appliance has an out of balance system in it and is designed to stop the machine from spinning at full speed if it feels that the load is too lop-sided – On some occasions it won’t allow it to spin at all –
Are you finding the slow spin is occurring when you have big , heavy , absorbent loads in i.e bath towels or bath mats or if the load is small ?
Its important to make sure the appliance has a full load which should be of a good mix of small and large items .
I’d check the loads first and see if there is apattern to when the slow spin speeds occur.

ParticipantI can answer the slanted edge question . The longest edge should be on the same side as the connector that connects to the brush . i.e If the connector pushes on from the right , thats the longest side . If it pushes on from the left , thats the longest side . You might also be able to notice that the brush housings are slightly angled onto the commutator , and its just a task of working out the right angles for the brush edges .
Hope this helps
….oh , and once you’ve replaced the brushes , turn the motor slowly by hand . If it makes an awful ‘clackety clack’ sound , they’re probably in the wrong way 😉nomadPaul
ParticipantRe: Bosch WFL2260 flashing ‘Active’ light
‘Active’ light flashing is to do with water intake , taking more than 6 mins to reach fill level.

ParticipantHas the model number rubbed off of the info sticker ? Its situated on the inside of the appliance next to the left hand side salad drawer and will probablu start KG-something .Without the serial number it can be quite difficult to diagnose any possible reasons for your problem .

ParticipantWhen you say the oven doesn’t work , what does it actually do ? ( maybe that should be…. or doesn’t do ? )

ParticipantREALLY 😯
A small squirt of WD40, then hold the shaft with pump pliers and spin the fan blade. A few seconds later the blade is removed.
Loads easier than removing the oven from the housing 😉
I guess its because i struggled gvetting the fan blade off of the first couple i did on my own and had to find my own way of doing it . I have tried WD40 before but was worried about the smell/smoke once the new element heated up . I suppose a long enough heating time to burn off the WD40 would be the best bet.
i’ll certainly try your method next time though 😉nomadPaul
ParticipantSteve , i think E10 is related to the motor .

ParticipantClive , afraid i can’t see that fault code anywhere .

ParticipantI don’t bother trying to get the fan blade off on its own anymore . I take off the nut , take the back panel off , take the leads off the fan motor , take the screws out of the fan motor . Back round the front , i place the wooden handle base of my plastic hammer on the fan shaft and smack the hammer head with the palm of my hand . 9 times out of 10 this is enough to dislodge the shaft from the fan blade .
I have this routine down to a T now.

ParticipantThe 01 code would point towards a filling problem , which would also seem to back up our quate about it happening during the rinse cycle . It means that either the appliance is not filling/filling slowly OR its filling ok but the appliance isn’t seeing the water level rising .
If you put it onto a rinse cycle , empty , can you see it filling inside.
If no , then it could be the inlet valve ( probably cold ) or the power module .
If it fills but error codes , i’d be checking the small pressure chamber on the bottom of rear of the drum . It is a small rectangular box with a small black pipe running off it . This chamber can get clogged and give false readings to the water level pressure switch .POWER OFF IF INVESTIGATING
