The ducting runs to each side of the casing as well to the rear. Up to you whether or not you get the can-opener out!

Mains suppressor blown. You lever up one end of the plate and slide to remove.

Part number 600233 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly.

    Power off first, obviously.

    I think you’ll find that ADP3700 is a built-in oven, not a hob.

That was why the motor was out and on our patio table…….. It’s only a couple of screws and a bit of leverage to remove.

    Re: Zanussi ZSF6161 flood reset

There are two flood protection systems on this appliance – a float switch in the tray under the machine and a cut-off pressure switch as part of the fill matrix.

If the float switch is activated, you can pull the plug and simply tip the machine to one side. If water comes out, you have a leak. If it doesn’t, the pressure switch system will be at work. This probably means that there is a blockage in the fill matrix, diverting air from the level preesure switch to the overflow one. Strip down and investigation required.

Stay safe, power off before removing any panel.

P/no 36060200, 1192J5 is the size. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly; as for today, it’s pure pot luck as to who may be on-line in your area.

    It’s about expectations, isn’t it?

“Bosch” in the UK has traditionally represented solid German dependability. In Germany, Bosch is looked upon much as we used to look upon Hotpoint before Indesit got their hands on it – Seimens is their “better” brand over there.

The simple truth is that it’s a complete minefield………

You need to have a think about what Mark said….

The SSP to the public does not matter to you as a repairer. It is a crucial tool to The Indesit Company as they try to sell warranty contracts to the public. £160 for a one-off repair, or £125 for a service contract. Hello……?

That’s a threat, clear and simple.

    Re: DWF 405 – 6 flashes

It sounds more like the diaphragm in the holder has gone. Was the switch actually working? You’re going to need THIS as a starter. Secondly, you need to check the function of the flow meter in the water matrix under the left hand side panel. This suffers from a poor connection where the wiring joins the pcb. The reed switch on the pcb can also fail, so the computer fails to receive the pulses and therefore thinks it’s not filling.

Take the side panel off the the other side to reveal motor. With the power off, check whether the motor is free to turn.

    Re: Whirlpool AKP511

    Um, no – not exactly……

The seal hooks onto the body of the oven for the door to close against. The glass panel is glued directly to the inside of the door.

Remove all traces of the previous bonding agent and ensure that both surfaces are absolutely grease free. Use plenty of sealant, then position the glass in place and weight it down for 24 hours. Encyclopedia Brittanica is very good for this.
