    i have been out to fit one of these boards today fault dead and the board with a burn mark through it fit new board but still dead so prob front pcb faulty as well.in the box was a note saying do not connect the i/r 3 wires and there was yellow tape across one of the places where the grey wires from the switch goes does this mean not to fit this one if not what is the i/r 3 wires? any help appreciated.

    hi i pinch the edge connectors on board and it has cured many faults inc one last week for a friends mam with this fault and all has been well since worth a try.

    not on me look back through the search under rs21 they are the same sensor dont forget to disconnect bottom heater when metering main heater as they are wired in parallell.

    it sounds like a problem on the defrost side just meter the o/load heater etc and it should show an open circuit.i always replace the def sensor yellow wire as they are prone to fail as for the blue never changed one.

    thanx for reply do you also get no heat as well with the fault in the past when you have changed the timers?

    it is recomended when changing the board to fit individual spade connectors very common fault.

    i also have an aeg built in the cust used it fine went to put another load in and it was also dead,as for the inline fuse why bother when the boards only cost about 7-10 euros to produce and it keeps stock turning round.

    but if it was bearings it would make a noise turning by hand but it is sound as soon as it tries to turn empty it makes a terrible noise.

    yes helo at the bottom corner the newer samsung are at the top,the older ones with the board orig poster is describing is at the bottom or every one i have changed the machine must have been upside down!!.

    pressure switch pipe gets damaged at the top where it meets the p/switch by the balance weight very common.
