    Re: Noisy Bosch pumps

Can vouch for that. Got one about 5 weeks ago and you’re correct, the pump just spoils it. I did get my rebate back in about 3 weeks as well and I certainly didn’t pay £599 for it 🙂

Thanks for that mate, Where do you get them from?

Unless I’m being studpid I can’t find them on Masterpart or Europart sites.

Egg incubator and ceramic pottery kiln elements.

Not done a PS3 or X box yet but got to be a market it in. Along the same lines as GHD hair strainghteners. Done a few of them before.

Never been asked to do smoke detector as a single job but some clients asked me change batteries and as always, some try and push it for you to do as much as possible for their money.

I’ll change a battery for an extra cup of tea or a peice of cake any day. 😀

I find that if you thoroughly wet them first – allow the lint to absorb the water. 5-10 minutes (a sink is perfect if big enough) Then try and clean it out. Have you tried moving dried on lint? it’s quite difficult. It comes away a lot easier when it’s been wet and allowed to absorb water…

is that not just a coprecci bayonet, if you olnly need the pump and not the body try UN51105….

You`ll have to change the connector at the back but that`s all.

Re: Friday afternoon Quiz – Zan ZWF1437 – E40 fault

    not quite mr mocking…

    The blood came afterwards…

At some time during the building works the machine took a knock on the third option button L-R – the button was jammed hard home and would not come out.

Noticing the error of their ways, some one used the blades of the two pen knives to prize the buttom back in to line with the others. However, unbeknown to them, it left the tactile switch permanently on.

It was this that caused it to show an E40 error… Abit of jiggling about and all sorted.. nice quick little earner.

Took my money and left the customer and builder to fight it out afterwards…

Re: Zanussi TCE7127 – no drum action and flashing light

thanks helo, I was aware to check the caps… my question related to the 5 flashes and whether it was a valid fault code and also the test procedure….

Fault is down to dead 2uf cap…

Does this mean I need to replace it with genuine … 125 64 18 20/1 or can I bung in any 2uf cap?????

Customer wants to replace it which seems a bit excessive over a simple capacitor. I just didnt’ have one close enough in size to try.

I do like these Zanu TD’s, they do seem to be built to a reasonable standard access for repair and repairs are usually simple enough…………………

518888 by any chance??? programme table.. not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure – that might be the small card programme list that is aroud the soap drawer.

    I can’t find a piccie of it so can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain

It’s not 522703 or 518886 – installation and user manuals.

You might have to by a complete panel 353546 unless one of the BSH boys knows differently
