Re: Siemens fridge freezer keeps tripping our power (KA62DS5

I do not have a list of fault codes or test codes but the most likely fault will be the defrost heater.

Re: American fridge not cooling but freezer is fine

    Try a 48 hour defrost.

Turn it off and leave the doors open on the fridge and freezer.

When you turn it back on it should cool down normally after a couple of hours.

If it does not the you may have a fan fault.

If it works ok but the problem returns in a few weeks then you will have a defrost system fault.

Both faults should be worth repairing if it is in good condition.

Re: Diplomat APM6852 Fridge Light Doesn’t Come On

The light cover just levers off with a flat screwdriver.

At the pointed end of the cover you push the screwdriver into the slot and lever it off.

If you find it difficult then at the wide end slide the screwdriver between the centre of the cover and housing then twist the screwdriver it should then come off as it should clear the two lugs on the cover.

It will most likely be the bulb, If not then it will require a new PCB / Module.

She will have to ask some other sucker for the answer. 😀

I do not think anyone on this site will get sucked in to give an answer.

As this is an old post I wonder if she ever got it changed.

I thought that was what the registration form was for.

Just add me to your list Brian.

If you do over order I don’t think there will be any leftovers as Geoff is going. 😀

    Re: Beko fridge freezer wiring

For your safety you should get an engineer to rewire this for you as you have the earth wires in the wrong place.

One of them is connected to the klixon / thermal cut out.

This could make the appliance live or cause a fire.

    Best left to an engineer.

You have to start worrying when you get one like I did a while back.

Customer said she had mentioned to a friend that I was calling and she replied ” Oh, is he still alive “. 😯

You should have replied yes still alive and drop dead gorgeous . 😀

And then added at least that’s what most customers say.

Hope to see you at the meeting

    Starting Failure.

1 Check the compressor terminals for short. ( U,V,W )

2 Check IPM Pins short of Inverter PBA

3 Check IPM operating voltage ( under DC 13.5V )

4 Other cases, check the compressor cycle.

Above is the Samsung list of faults for 1 blink Frequency
