Is this a Washer Dryer, do you need to set a time, and select cottons/synthetics perhaps.

If the programme dial is in the wrong position CONDITIONER icon will flash.
Press start/cancel button for 5 seconds to see if it resets, if not you may have murdered it.

Re: Big Ball of ice inside the fridge (not in the ice-box)

The walls of the appliance are filled with an insulation material to keep the cold inside the fridge. If this insulation breaks down or cracks for instance then there is a hot spot where there is heat ingress from outside. At the point of breakdown there will be frost/ice build-up normally apparent internally within the appliance as shown in picture.

Check for chaffing of cable loom, damage to cables going to valves, pump, motor etc, sounds like there may have been a cable nicked or something. Check heater, motor for earth leakage also.

When I switch the cycle on the machine makes a noise a low whirring sound instead the drum turning sounds as if it wants to turn.

Low whirring noise is possibly the drain pump, check that it is in fact draining water away as motor may not start to spin until water is drained out. Buzzing noise would indicate that valve is looking for water maybe it has not been switched on again, on wash cycle appliance would not turn until it had filled of course.

Tacho i’d imagine, check tacho, tacho coil, magnet etc. Cable to motor from p.c.b, motor brushes, end frame on motor. P.C.B itself, relay or triac could be faulty either.

Could be motor brushes worn, belt off as K advises or perhaps the cable to motor has become stretched & is making bad connection or come out.

Model number, product number perhaps, what is a sheath that you speak of,.
Even post a picture of the burner may help.

If its a Gas appliance you need to be Gas Safe registered to do any repairs on it.

Re: Miele T230C – condensation problem

Not only have you had you head stuck in the dryer for too long but you have actually had you fingers on the keyboard for too long.
Many people will not be bothered to read through paragraphs of post as long as this.

Is’nt it about time you called Miele to look at it. Or at least an appliance Engineer, if you spend £500+ on a top of the range dryer you should expect to have it serviced correctly, not stabbing in the dark & fitting parts that “someone” suggested may be faulty, a £200 part at that, that may not have been necessary if the problem was corrected initially, or prevented by cleaning the filters & not letting the condenser get blocked up.
If a thermostat only lasts a month then you have a serious problem, it is most likely down to a poor airflow or blockage somewhere, most likely the condenser & drainage.
Advise you to cut your losses, if you are not prepared to pay to have the appliance serviced properly then don’t buy these expensive machines.

Not sure there iss a pressure switch on those Beko dishwashers, thought they had a metered water intake.
