Check solenoid coil of inlet valve, possibly its open circuit on one of the two coils.

As previously advised, non contact voltage detector does’nt measure “current”.
It will let you know if there is a live phase present, best to use a multimeter that can measure voltage to show if live & neutral are present to make circuit work.

    :plug:
Just a word of warning, some of these non-contact voltage detectors have been subject to a safety recall.
Dangerous as they show no power although circuit is live. BEWARE :lesson: :plug:

Not sure what you used to check “current”, you can’t check an electrical supply with phase tester if this is what you’ve used.
It will only check if a phase/live is present, you need a phase/live and neutral present for a circuit to work.

The DC module would likely only have a supply voltage when programme is running (sending power to motor) it should’nt always have a supply.

With power off check main P.C.B and D.C module for blown components, this may show as burn marks on inner casing surrounding P.C.B.

Few thing to maybe check first, the mains inlet filter & on/off switch.
At incoming mains cable through back panel, inside the mains filter IS mounted on back panel.
If its blown or poor cable connection it could have gone with a crack and would mean poor or no supply to P.C.B., same if on/off switch is defective.
If there is mains supply on P.C.B but not doing anything then i’d go with changing P.C.B.
These are known for blowing the DC module which is small P.C.B mounted to side panel at top, normally you will have P.C.B lighting but no motor action though if it was blown.

    Re: Miele dishwasher G653scui plus

I can’t remember the particular appliance in question, suspect its a G653SCVi+,
it has a fill matrix on one side & a fan condenser on the other side.
Could be problem with fan for drying, condensate valve which allows cold water through to condenser during drying cycle.
There’s a drain hole at bottom of condenser chamber that can block up.

Re: Zanussi ZWF81443w Leaking (Lindo 100)

Have had problems with the non return flap/diaphragm getting stuck due to lint/gunge build etc, theres no filter on them so if they block at all they leak when it goes to spin as all water is not gone out. They tend to leak there & every one i’ve been to has signs of mounting screws rusted from water leak.
The pump is a bit of a pig to work on, the biggest problem is getting that non return flap to seal again after its been removed, debor glue is recommended..

    Re: Beko hja6100 E4 displayed

E4 refers to the defrost heater faulty.
When an error is corrected the error codes disappear.
Also after a self test errors are cleared, so if you power off & leave off for a while, on power up again it goes through a self test procedure which should clear errors.
If E4 shows still, i’d presume fault has’nt been sorted yet.

Possibly the wash motor impellor has blockage in it, not putting up the correct water pressure, thus showing fault.

Don’t know the exact model you have here but Beko d’washers are prone to cable breakages in the loom at bottom of door, fine wire to NTC could be broken.

    Re: Miele problem

That would be more than the life of any dishwasher nowadays really, its difficult to say if its worthwhile having it repaired as we don’t know whats causing it to “trip the fuse”. But its your call if you decide to get an engineer i’m sure once he’s examined it, he’ll give you a quotation then you can decide if you think its too costly or worth a punt.

Don’t blow into pressure sensor, it damages them and deffo won’t work after this.

Re: AEG lavermat error code EF5

You don;t need to clear the fault code for appliance to work (reset) as far as I know, EF5 is just an error code that comes up if there has been an unbalanced load detected. It should not prevent further loads from spinning.

    Re: Zanussi ZDP7205PZ Acoustic Signal

You can switch on the acoustic signal, by pressing button 1&2 together (from right of on/off button).
    2 beeps confirms its deactivated.
When appliance finishes for any reason, eg, time finished, water full, etc, it would play an acoustic for 2 minutes if door is not opened or on/off button used.
The movement of drum you describe is anti-crease action after the drying cycle is finished & again until door opened or its switched off.
It should explain this in the User Manual..

Easy answer is refer to user manual, if they don’t have the user manual (booklet), you can go onto Miele website & download it, I think.

1:- Model number is not correct. Post correct model num’ including 9 digit PNC num’.
2:- Posted in wrong forum this is washing machine forum, there is a dishwasher forum which you will probably get better feedback from.
3:- Likely the pressure sensor has gone faulty & is overfilling, the extra water is going into base via tubes you described . There is a modification kit that can be fitted to these, but without correct information to identify appliance we can’t tell whether this applies to your machine or not.
