ParticipantYou said in post #26 that there were scorch marks on the RCD board and then when you replaced it, the RCD flipped.

ParticipantHave you tried pressing the reset button on the back of the machine ?.

ParticipantNormally around 3 watt, somewhere like CPC or RS should stock suitable replacements.

ParticipantBefore delving inside too far, make sure it’s unplugged and that the EHT capacitor is discharged. Failure to do so could prove fatal.

ParticipantIdeas yep: Scrap it, put it down to experience & move on. You can’t buy New spares and buying something like that used can open up a whole other can of worms.

ParticipantWhen your looking at the PCB/s also check for bad soldering and Domed tops or Bulged bodies on the Electrolytic capacitors, they can all cause these sort of weird problems.

Participantiadom wrote:How can you say you have a perfectly good machine when you have hacked and sawn the drum in half? Just as a matter of interest how did you intend to rejoin the two halves of the outer drum? As there is no drum spider listed as a part for this machine which £30 part did you hope to acquire?
Buy a new machine.
At times the mind just boggles mate, doesn’t it

ParticipantPersonally I’d fit 2 original bulbs, these circuit boards were never intended to work with LED lamps.

ParticipantThe switch is probably only has 2 terminals. With the mains power turned off or the hood unplugged, use your meter set to continuity & place the meter leads across the switch. Turn the switch on and the meter should have a very low reading for a good switch, something like 0.5 to 1 ohm. But the switch contacts are most likely faulty.

ParticipantHi: Just go to the shop and put ISE CD60W into the search bàr, all available parts are listed.

ParticipantCould be something as simple as low incoming water pressure, has the water been off for any reason ?. Is the water tap feeding the machine fully open ?, Is the filter on the inlet valve Dirty / Blocked ? etc.

ParticipantIf there isn’t enough water flowing through the heater when energised, then it will quickly overheat. The processor measures the flow of water by counting the square wave pulses from the flow sensor and comparing them to an internal map, if the pulses don’t match the map then the heater won’t get power. It protects the heater and machine.
