Any splits in the drum at the back or front where the circunferance meets them, usually only found by pushing hard at seam to see if it will part.

Is stuff freezing in the fridge?is there ice building up on the back of the fridge,is the frost reaching where the thermostat phial fits,is the phial held tightly by the screw, one of these may
    be the answer.
Was the old thermostat open circuit?

I have the diagram and parts list for that number but with a different variant on the end. They are all very similar it probably refers to the facis.
The relay is encompassed in the motor, much like the old servis washers years ago.
Motor could be fluffed up causing problem also.
If you want some info pm me with your email.

Macmillan do a good basic one written by N Cook called Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology. There are many others available if youy visit a decent library.
Good place to start and then you can take it further if you wish.

Magnets off old microwave magnetrons are ideal for slipping over solenoid valves (refrigeration) to check their mechanical operation.Stick them on the inside of the van roof and keep giving your screwdrivers a recharge.

They somewhat lump us all together, followed one who had alledgedly fitted a wash pump for £100 ish on a indesit/hotpoint she didn’t say until I got there.
Tipped it over and she said he only took the side off, fitted wash pump from the side 😯 don’t think so.Not only that the leads were off the drain pump.Ex manufacture’s engineer too .
She gave up trying to get him back and was moaning and going on about poor service and calls me to pick up the bits so to speak.
If they tell me over the phone that I’m following someone I always say no thanks.

Sounds like you may have a refrigerant loss or slightly under performing compressor.
Would neeed an engineer for either fault.
