Whilst you have the door off to check wiring remove control PCB and check printed circuit for a blackened solder area which could be the heater relay,it can be re soldered if that is the problem.

Almost lump hammer size 😯 ,sometimes the bearing comes out with the shaft,a brass or copper drift will also help.
Worst scenario is a new drum shaft which will make a better alround repair anyway, shaft and bearings together are cheap enough,I’d be tempted to consider changing both.spimps

My batteredlooking rowenta is the dogs wotsits, pulls water out through drain hose along with a any carp in there.

Probably the capacitor on the side of the motor, which gives it a kick to start if it fails the motor hums and gets very hot, hopefully no damage to motor windings.
Probably £15ish so worth a try part no 481212118132.

ParticipantRe: Free Estimate.
Had a pub landlord ring from 20 miles away saying “can you give me a free estimate?” I said no problem “if you give me a meal for two and a decent bottle of red it’s a deal” he said he’ll speak with his wife and ring back 🙂

Have you had a look ? sounds a strange one.
Is the valve opening and closing quickly for some electrical reason causing water hammer in the pipes, megger all round!
Domestic pipes should be secured enough to prevent water hammer.April 20, 2009 at 5:54 pm in reply to: Ignis ADL348 dishwasher not starting, gives 7 flashes??? #283647spimps
ParticipantRe: Ignis ADL348 dishwasher not starting, gives 7 flashes???
7 flashes, represents flow meter fault(measures water going into machine),worth checking water is switched on,filter in inlet pipe fitting to machine is clear.
UNPlUG before handling machine.
Whirlpool agents etc should be able to supply spares for this one if they are required

Would be helpful if you can supply the 12 digit service no beginning with 8.
Possibly fault on water flow meter but would need to check on the servis no first.

ParticipantRe: Bosch WAE24162UK/01
Ran it through a 60c,checked the element and motor but no earth fault at all.
The machine is now behaving normally,I did previously change the level tubing but it still played up afterwards so that wasn’t the solution, looks like a pcb fault of sorts,I’ll have to wait and see what happens.spimps
ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS56E02GB/47 not completing cycle
All in one tablets are a recipe for disaster in a hard water area, check the hardness of the water and set your machine accordingly, then use salt, rinse aid etc.
Your machine will wash better and last longer.
Do your glasses gleam or do they have a cloudy effect on them, the latter I suspect.spimps

Thanks,loved that.

ParticipantRe: Smeg CR330SE Drain tube blocked
Think you will have to remove cabinet from cupboard, you should then be able to get at the tube which usually goes between the condenser and the back of the cabinet,if you can’t clear you can join a new section on.
