    Re: Stoves oven thermostat

    Stoves said it was obsolete.
I’ve now seen the kit that contains 2 stats plus 2 switch controls and some wiring. I assume its a stat and switch for each oven. How straight forward is it to fit (if the customer decides to go for the expensive repair)? Are the instructions it comes with clear?

    Thanks

    Re: Whirlpool Oven F03

Been reading elsewhere that F03 is oven sensor. I did test this and got a reading through it but it could be out.
Anyone know what F03 actually means? The Ntc is typically well over priced by Whirlpool at £40-£50.

    Thanks

Seems like the sensor in the filter compartment is just a resetting cut out, is this correct?

Thanks. Turned out to be the little magnet in the door had fallen out of its housing.

If you’re getting a reading through the heater then test all the connections through the defrost sensor / thermal cut-out. If all good then problem is with the power module at the back, it will need replacing. Common problem on these.

    Thanks George.
Yes the other side works fine with the pan, so it’s probably the main board.

I have just received a new heater for an Ignis ADL350 with the same instruction about running a test cycle to clear the program board.
Is this info readily available on here now or would anyone be kind enough to let me have it?

    Many Thanks

    Re: Fisher Paykel Dishdrawer leaking.

    Thanks for reply’s.
The customer said the f1 was showing on both drawers. I did read about f1 on one drawer meaning possible heater fault in other drawer.
It was about 5 days until I got there and when i turned it on it was all working. The base was only slightly wet around the mains board but nothing much at all. When I ran both drawers for about 5 minutes all I found were a few drips.
Not heard anything back from customer for few days now but wanted to arm myself with a plan b if I have to go back.

    Thanks
