I think his first post is saying he’s proved its the motor? (As the motor is producing the same fault in another M3025.)
Fairdeal wants to know what is wrong on the motor to cause such a fault.

Have you checked the wiring loom to the blower motor and from right side of machine to heater box?
Have you changed the normal operating stat?

Two points;
1)
Have peoples feelings changed in regards to Remploy? In the fact that using Remploy could get ISE agents out of a financial burden due to the WEEE Directive.
2)
I have, in the past year, covered numerous repairs on machines sold through Oxfam / Remploy. I have been suprised at the number of repairs that have been due to worn carbon brushes, poor looming, blocked pressure systems.
In Example; yesterday, I had a Bosch wff1201 bought 6 months ago. The faults were worn brushes, noisy pump, and totally blocked pressure reservoir. Now this machine was sold for £110. My cost of repair was just under this. The repair was authorised.
Now my point is Remploy surely won’t survive if this is a trend seen nationwide.
This obviously has implications to all of us if we are relying on such companies to help us avoid WEEE Directive costs.

Could timer knob have slipped on shaft? Therefore customer is only really setting 20 minutes instead of 120.

What makes you believe the economy button has ceased to work?
I have never had an economy button fail.If you select the economy option this would allow the machine to skip the heating section of the wash. Therefore if there was a fault with the parts involved with the heat stage of the cycle they would not be in the circuit with economy selected.
I agree with jim, i think its time to call out someone who can check all parts and wiring for you. This could save you a lot of time and money in the long run.

If you put the programme dial on the rinses does it progress through the cycle?
Have you tried running the machine with the economy button pushed in?

wash heater underneath the drum. lid off, front off to access.
dryer heater on top of outer tub. lid off to access.Whats your problem, no heat on wash or no heat on dry?
Unplug machine before taking apart!!!!!!!!

Have you tried unplugging machine from wall socket. This may clear any logged fault.
p.s i assume you are trying a normal load of clothes since your pillows incident. It maybe a genuine ‘Uneven Load’ with the clothes load you are now trying???????

Had faults caused by both the pcb and timer/selector. 9 times out of 10 you just need to change the timer/selector. Your fault does sound like it could be the pcb though. Check for low insulation and water contaminated pump first. (Its always worth putting a drip cover on the pump.)
I know its nice to know a definitive answer but on this sort of fault, if you don’t want a recall, i would price up the pcb change and just add £20 to cover changing the timer/selector as well.
(i always carry a timer/selector for test purposes now as its a nice quick job plus the timer/selectors fit a whole range of models unlike the pcb’s.)
