    Re: hotpoint bwm12

i suspect this could be a design fault on this model?

How many years have you had the machine?
How many washes have you done since you bought it?

If the paddle situation was a design fault you would of had trouble way before now.

As already stated the foreign object damage is much more likely.

I agree with Martin, that does happen occassionally.

The effort involved to produce specific DVD’s for each make, model, variation would be impossible.

If the DVD isn’t exact to the model then you will still get people posting where that hidden torx screw is as its not on the DVD.

Flog the Haynes manual and keep the site as it is. Surely thats enough.

A DVD of all and sundry is, i feel, overkill.

What is the reasoning behind the DVD? Mainly to help us out in the trade?

Any help I, or anybody else, need is already available here on UKwhitegoods.

    Darren,

What makes you think I haven’t thought about my statement?

I assumed that UKwhitegoods is making a profit. I can’t believe so much time, effort and hard work would be put into it if it wasn’t.

Thats it. Simple. No behind the scenes knowledge.

    My feelings exactly.

It would be interesting to know how much the subscription would have to be to cover UKwhitegoods plus the profit made by advertising / sales.

We could then truly see how much it would mean to us in pounds, shillings and pence. Because this is the only thing that matters. 😉

    What do you think £50 a year, £200 a year, £500 A year.

    Re: ISE website

Just wondering if the site will be updated soon. I’m finding it difficult to promote the machines properly without the full range of machines on there.

I know your busy K but without an up to date site I feel ISE aren’t filling people with confidence.

I know I can guide people to shop@ but I find this more complicated to explain to customers and not so tactile to use.

    Thanks.

If you hold the start button for more than 5 seconds does the machine cancel?

Mine was no heat as well.

Bad solder joint on board. (inside door, nice and easy to get to).

By the way, if you didn’t know, the heater is up the back wall of the dishwasher. You can take a plastic cover off the very back to access terminals.

If you have an e-mail i’ll try sending the manual.

    Yes please.

The light that flashes is the start light. Just one flash on the cycles that won’t start.

The cycles that work the start light flashes as it should, constantly until you press start.

    Cheers.

    Re: v2 ise5 no spin

    This has been discussed before.

The spin on its own is only 1200. What yours is doing is correct.

The only way to get max spin is to use cottons cycles or the rinse on its own, if I remeber correctly.

I went to a customer on Friday who said he was going to get Baumatic out until he was informed they couldn’t get an engineer out until the 12th of June. 😯

    There must be something up!

    Thanks for reply Martin.

I’m giving the machine chance to error for me. Its in the workshop, so will keep knocking out the programmes until it errors.

If no errors will get the motor out and go from there.
