I happen to have the lokring plier for clamping on joints if you are interested? Never been used. I will find out how much it’s worth.

thank you for your help, owner decided it wasn’t worth the trouble. This kind of thing I do come across every now and then when owners buys the budget Miele model and often aren’t prepared to pay for new parts when it breaks as they feel priced out of it in spite of getting a really good price on the parts. I do feel for them.

    no child lock engaged.

It was a very confusing one.

    Commercial code is 7142641100

Any chance I can have a test sequence manual, please?

Correction- f78 implies faulty circulation pump. It works perfectly well when I was there. Hence I was stumped.

Can you send me same info as I have same issue with AEG 94417152902? Cooling fan won’t stop. Thermal limiter with green dot on top of grill appears to be in order (closed circuit). If this is thermal cut out, it should cut off at 110deg? I,m trying out the rubber thermal limiter to see if this cures.

What did you do to resolve it in the end? I have the same problem with SMV40C00GB/35 model. I replaced the reed contact and did not cure. I have never come across faulty impeller although it did respond to my magnetic screwdriver thus ruled it out.

What was the tech info on this? I too have the same problem, some threads elsewhere implies faulty condenser pump. Checked out the pump, checked the hoses and nothing out of the ordinary. I was originally called to the dryer as the belt snapped but the owner says it was making beeping noise like 3 beeps then pause then 3 beeps.

No fault code. It was working fine before I went to clean drain filter then it went to pot. Not checked pressure switch and tube as I didn’t think it would be the problem.

Quick question, the electrolux oven with thermal limiter burn out, what was the cause of it? I have just attended an oven with thermal limiter burn out, replaced it along with new fan motor. When I replaced both components, the thermal limiter got rather hot. leaves me wondering that there is a power surge somewhere. your thoughts and advice would be welcomed

clockworkone wrote:I will not give any warranty on these heat pumps. I explain this to the customer straight away. I show them a picture of part listing from a supplier that in their description says “The problem heat pump from Bosch” Many still go ahead with repair which is great as it is a really handy repair. These have the potential to cost you too much money.

Nearly all of my customers will go ahead with the repair even there are cheaper better brand new dishwasher out there. The challenge with these dishwashers, you have to look for the source of the leak. My experience is that drain pump is the one that caused it in most leaks secondly heat pump.
