    Hi

The pressure switch is factory set ,so do not attempt to play around with it, you will most likely end up with a flood . water level should be OK for rinsing. Unless pressure chamber is partialy blocked stopping machine from taking correct level of water.

Re: Ultima WD865 creasing clothes badly

    Hi

All the older washer dryers instructions always said to dry only half load because a washing machine drum is to small to dry correctly, and they always creased things if you put too much into the drum to dry. If they say it will dry a full load then it should. but just try it with half a load to see if this makes a difference . If it then only works correctly with half a load complain to Hotpiont .
If you look into the drum of a full size dryer the drum fills the whole cabinet .

    Hi

When using the dryer are you following the instructions to only dry half a load . If you try to dry the full load that you have washed it will crease . Split the load in two.
Please read your instruction book about drying cycle.

    Hi

Did you disconnect the inlet hoses at he back of machine , you may have reconnected them back the wrong way round if machine is finishing with everything hot . Becuase the rinces should be with cold water so should be cold when you take things out.

Looking at the picture of the pulley it looks as if the rear bearing is coming out of the housing, could posibly be a case of a new tub.

    Hi

The warranty only covers manufacturing faults and break downs , water coming from an external source and getting into the workings of the machine is not a manufacturing fault .

    Hi

Insulation on modern refrigeration is thicker than on the older type so internal space will be smaller for the same external dimentions.

    Hi

i have a slight salt bloom otherwise it works fine

Do you mean a white residue on glasses etc, this can be caused by several things . are you using 2in1/3in1/4in1 tablets or individual powder/salt/rinse aid are spray arms rotating freely are you using the correct dose of detergent for your machine
