Hi Knoxy, you have been given some bad advice from the other site you have been on.

If you remove all the connectors from the board then you will also remove the capabillity for the board to work…. Notwithstanding this, if one of the connections that you have just removed accidentally touches the casing and becomes live when you are switching the machine on to test it, then there becomes a danger element.

IIRC this machine has a 3 phase board… If this is correct then please leave the board at lease 5 mins before attempting to touch it after disconnectiong from the mains.. **Shock Hazzard*

Could it be a switch at the rear of the water container?

I had the same problem today on a (WIXL 143 suk).. Sometimes water inlet pulsing… Sometimes door lock going out and power loss to motor for a second or so during spin.

Pretty sure it is power supply loss from board.

    Did you ever sort this?

Only other time I have seen anything similar to what you describe is when a main-board had a faulty motor relay on a WMA30 about 5 or 6 years ago.

    Re: servis washer dryer m9503w

Several things could cause this. Pressure switch, Motor brushes, Motor, Loom connections, or as Kwatt has said, the PCB Module..

You will need to get an engineer to look at this unless you are proficient to check the individual componants yourself.

Always remove the plug before attempting to have a look yourself.

Check the pressure switch too .. if the P?S thinks it still has water in the machine it will tumble but wont spin.

Had this last night on a M6012

If you are talking about the Whirlpool style clip then all I use is a broad ended screwdriver and a mallet. Put one end into situ and using the screwdriver apply pressure to the other end, then tap the end of the screwdriver with the mallet.

I’d prefer the Friday if possible but the Saturday would be okay I guess.

Liverpool or Manchester would be good for airports.

Completely unrelated probem than your first repair… PCB error. Reset, and if that doesn’t work, look at the PCB for componant damage.

I would go armed with a megger and an element and state tat the callout charge is £45 since the machine has already been interfered with by a non-professional.

Sorry.. my mistake.. I thought the WTA/UKW meeting was every 6 months.. Feb & Sept.

All that aside… Saturday is the best day I guess, since the next day is usually a day off.

Count me in… If we are not having the normal meeting thn I will be there for the engineers meeting just as a catch-up and get-together.
