It’s happened to me a few times (even compressors), but much less in the last year or so. 😳
The correct procedure is to rip the part number label off the box to prevent the part being restocked.
Believe me any BSH engineer who was found to have failed to this will have his arse kicked, not least by the other engineers. 😈Re: Siemens HB86K570B interior glass shattered

Not a “fault”, it’s a result of food debri/grease not being removed from the inner door.Read the postings above. 🙂

Not that Gaggenau have any laundry appliances on the market anyway.

Never seen that happen. The rarity and nature of the fault will account for the reluctance to send an engineer.
Whilst I don’t doubt what you say, some people do tell fibs. It’s just a shame this has an impact on the honest customer.
Send the part in and see what happens.
