    eprom?? scuse my ignorence.. 😳

The eprom is a little microchip that plugs into the module giving the applaince it’s correct features/identity

The WE16 is part of the evolution range which carries a 5 year parts guarantee with indesit so for around £90 they will fix it for you,

    Ben

I suspect the lower arm may be blocked up, take it off and give it a good clean out making sure all the holes are clear of rice and stuff.

Let us know if thats any better

Just tried to order one of these, only to be told ” for Indesit Co, engineers use only” 😥

Sorry guys i thought these were ready available, basically the kit contains drum rear, tub seal, heater, belt, pressure hose clips and 6 bolts for the drum support.

Keep a eye out it may be available in the future ❓

    Hi PD

Is the door locking ok? try opening and shutting the door and starting the appliance again and let us know if thats any better.

I you have to “slam” the door to get it to start i would recommend changing the interlock.

Pull the plug before attempting any repair :zap:

You may have a heating fault with your dishwasher – only an engineer will provide 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} diagnosis. look in repairs@ or call indesit for an engineer

We did not repair whirlpool comet sales under guarantee, unless they screwed it up!

    Kevin

I might be wrong on this but i’m sure they buy hotpoints without any warranty and claim back part of the repair cost from other manufacturers.

jimbo2207 wrote:The deal Comet have with Hotperloni is that we do all the Indeshit under guarantee, and they do the Hotpoint. If they come unstuck on a Hotpoint then we have to go out.

It all depends on the area some comet service centres do the indesit under guarantee work aswell, i suppose the more engineers they acquire the more under guarantee work they will take on nationally.

I’m sure that the manufacturers will still get the “problem” jobs 😆

I hope you name and shame her to the other repairers in your area – she seems to have serious issues!

    and quote

    Value of Module £48.68
    Cost of Merloni Repair £59.56
    Tax £18.94
    Time off work £93.84
    Cost of recorded deliver £0.96

time off work £93.84??? – if she can afford to take that much time off work tell her to go to comet and buy a beko the silly bi**h
